Figuring that others will already be going for the nearest cultist, Crimson, Beefheart and Sitrus all rush cultists 7 & 8.

Edit: Sitrus is attacking the nearest cultist, since his little dwarf legs can't go very fast.

Miss Cleo is shocked to see so many of her group fall to the brutal attacks of the cultists.

Nearly dead herself, she keeps guard at the door.

Can Egburt use his last roll for his upcoming attack on cultist 5?

Beheading his opponent, Toldren pivots to attack the nearest cultist (#5) from behind as the others approach him from the front.
initiative [1d20] = 18

to hit [1d20] = 5

damage [1d8+2] = 3+2 = 5

The cultist against Kid Crimson gets the upper hand and crushes the side of Kid’s head (3 dmg) before he can attack. The enthusiastic cooper falls aside and hits the stone floor, dead!

Cultist = [1d20-1] = 18-1 = 17 int, [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16 att, [1d4] = 3 dmg

Beefheart smashes a cultist upside the head with his hammer (3 dmg), and the hood of the figure becomes saturated with blood as he falls to the floor – dead!


Egburt and Irakas strike the sword-wielder (combined 3 dmg) from both sides. His frontal arc is occupied by Sitrus, Bugg and Quill and he chooses a random target to attempt a breakout. He slashes Quill (1 dmg) just as Sitrus whacks him with his shovel (3 dmg).

Egburt Int = [1d20] = 11

Irakas Int = [1d20] = 4

Sword Cultist = [1d20+1] = 1+1 = 2 int, [1d20+3] = 18+3 = 21 att, [1d8] = 1 dmg

Random Strike = [1d3] = 3

Toldren, Bugg and Quill swing against the sword cultist, but cannot hit their mark.

Quangah continues his rush north.

Schlovell and Foul greet Miss Cleo at the door, and then take in the horror and carnage of this ritual chamber.

Schlovell and Foul both rush into the room once they see the carnage. They run towards the alter, hoping they can still help their friends before more people fall.

Miss Cleo greets them at the door as they pass, still watching over the area in every direction with her hands.

"Nice of you ta joine us.....finally!"

Please roll initiative and attack rolls. You are within 30ft, so you may move and attack this round.

Beefheart's own heart beats rather visibly inside his transparent chest. He continues to attack the cultist before him fearing for his life.

Beefheart Init've [1d20-1] = 10-1 = 9, Hammer [1d20+1] = 7+1 = 8, Damage [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4


Sitrus continues to beat on the cultist in front of him, doing his best to make convincing judo sounds.

Sitrus Init've [1d20-1] = 8-1 = 7, Shovel [1d20-1] = 6-1 = 5, Damage [1d4-1] = 1-1 = 0

and Egburt swings with his staff, each coming from a different angle of attack to overwhelm the cultist.

absolutely useless

Quill, too terrified to run away, strikes out clumsily with his shoddy dagger at cultist 5 even while flinching away with his body.

In the chaos of battle, the surrounded sword cultist gets the initiative and continues to slash Quill for a breakout. He slices into the elf’s arm (1 dmg), which is enough to kill the sage and knock him to the floor – dead!

Sword Cultist = [1d20+1] = 20+1 = 21 int, [1d20+3] = 17+3 = 20 att, [1d8] = 1 dmg

Only Quangah and Irakas connect with the counter attacks, both hitting (combined 9 dmg) from opposite sides. Their strikes cut deep into the cultist, and he slumps onto the corpse of Quill and exhales his final breath – dead!

Irakas = [1d20] = 19 int, [1d20+1] = 16+1 = 17 att, [1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4 dmg
Quangah Int = [1d20] = 1

The cultist on Beefheart swings a crushing blow into the side of his ribs. The club smashes bone into lung and the armorer falls to the floor suffocating and dies!

Cultist = [1d20-1] = 18-1 = 17 int, [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16 att, [1d4] = 2 dmg

Two more of your comrades fall along with the most powerful of the cultists. One severely wounded cultist (#7) remains.

Schlovell and Foul move north towards the altar.

Foul is not the sharpest tool in the old shed, but seeing the pile of bodies building up around the cultists puts her years of self preservation on full alert. She crutches herself forward another 10 feet closer to the last cultist and fires off a stone from her sling at the thug.

Init. [1d20] = 5

Sling Attack [1d20] = 17 Damage [1d4] = 2


Schlovell follows suit, not really too keen on getting much closer to the blood and guts near the alter. He pulls out his trusty blacksmith's hammer and lets it fly at the cultist.

Init. [1d20+1] = 14+1 = 15

Hammer Attack Thrown [1d20+1] = 16+1 = 17 Damage [1d4] = 1


Miss Cleo certainly knows better then to let her curiosity gets the best of her, but she just cant help herself. She walks forward and sticks her hand behind the curtain to her left to see what she can find.

Sitrus picks up Kid Crimson's sword and rushes toward the curtains in the upper right corner of the room, figuring that the others will easily take the remaining cultist down.
