Chapter 26 - Level III
Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
Grimes - Fighter
Grimes frowns at the lack of interesting things. He says dourly, "I'm all for tossin' some of the egg things down there to see what happens." He shrugs and says "one a' them rooms looked like a tavern. Wanna get a drink? Some hooch might clear our minds..."
OOC: Grimes is content to follow, but is also curious as to the chaos we could cause with the eggs.

Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
"A little chaos now and then is a fine thing," says Ulster, "but let's not use that as Plan A, hm? How about we work our way around the promenade and check out what's behind the doors?"

Let's start working out way around counter-clockwise?

But Algrim wants to search the tavern.

Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
Algrim stops at the empty taverns and a tear gleams in his eyes then covering it up he coughs and grumbles "I'm gonna go check the tavern out." then the dwarf warrior walks towards the nearest empty tavern looking for anything to salvage "Terrible aint no tavernmaster what a durned waste."greyarea wrote:You walk all the way around the walkway, with your metal golem companion following.
You find entertainment areas with large open spaces and taverns without tavernmasters.

Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
"Maybe you could set up shop here," jokes Ulster, following along.
Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
Algrim checks out the bar. With someone behind it, the lights flicker on. He notices a brownish box of some strange substance which is open. Within are nine glass bottles, full. They have labels that have faded beyond reading. The box sits upon a second closed box of the same make and dimensions.
A few moments after the lights go on a metal golem, painted white and black with a towel hanging from one servo-arm approaches the rest of the party. It is apparently on wheels. It begins speaking to you in the strange language you've heard before, and then lights flash on its head. It says, in common, Hello and welcome. Please follow me to your table.
It then wheels away to a nearby table, gesturing with its servo-arm and saying, Please have a seat. Would you care for beverages?

Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
Algrim a little more happy takes a seat "Startin ta really like this place. Aint as tragic as I'd though." he says to Ulster then asks the odd metal golem tavernmaster/server "What ya got?" smiling though a little hard to see through the beard.

Ulster is skeptical. He does not sit. "Be careful. This metal ship has been here a long time and its people are long dead. At best, the beer will be really really skunky and flat. At worst, it's what killed them. Cheers!"

Dieter - Mage
I'd pass on eating or drinking anything here...
It's unclear how to get down there. Maybe we use the tube?

Dandy licks his lips...then his wisdom gets the better of him. "Aye, best not be eatin' or drinkin' anything here, let's move on 'n explore these other rooms," he says, pointing down the hall.

Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
Castinus' shoulders sink in dejection. "But we're their guests here. It would be rude to refuse a drink, don't you think?"
Seeing that the party has moved on, he follows.
Oc: counter clockwise door searching is fine.

Grimes - Fighter
Grimes sighs at the thought of spoiled beer. With a tone of dejection, he mumbles "Yeah, I'm afraid I have to agree with the others, I don't know if I'd trust any vittles from this here place." He smirks and asks the waiter golem "Hey bud, where are the ladies at?"
He turns toward the group and says "You never know."
OOC: Want to do a quick search of the room then keep going clockwise or whatever?

As the party prepares to leave, the waiter returns with a bottle of clear liquid and glasses for you all. When it uncorks the bottle and passes the cork for you to sniff, its potency is detectible from quite some ways away. Strong stuff.

Re: Chapter 26 - Level III
It is quite good I’m told. The Captian always said it was his favorite.
