The next level down opens to a dark room, its size impossible to ascertain. You can just make out boxes and crates. You sees an exit ahead with some kind of creeper vine trying to grow through the door.

The golem seems to understand Grimes' request and shines a light from its chassis around.
The room is square and not much larger than the drop tube itself. There is a vine of some sort trying to grow through the join of a double door to the south.

The vegemites approach the south door to open it. When they get close enough, the creepers growing through the doorway animate and wrap around the poor summoned creatures. The vines begin to constrict and try to strangle the now-helpless vegemites!

Grimes winces at the sight of the veggies getting mauled, recalling his unfortunate encounter at the hands of the trapper thing not too long ago. He growls "Dammit." And he charges, shouting "HEY! LET GO A' OUR VEGGIES!" And he'll charge the plant, seeking to skewer the thing with Wave.

Everyone else watches while Grimes wades in with Poseidon's fork. He stabs ineffectually at the vines. They grab at him monster attack [1d20] = 9, monster attack [1d20] = 3, monster attack [1d20] = 7, monster attack [1d20] = 15, monster attack [1d20] = 5 the vines wrapping round his armored limbs but not able to get in to squeeze him. Two of the veggiemites go down, strangled by the vines. The third still struggles.
Grimes is caught as if entangled.

Ulster steps forward to see if he can untangle Grimes without resorting to magic or violence. If he can't move the vines without damaging them, he will try slicing vines away from Grimes.
