The grey card opens the north-most red card door. This appears to be a storage room of some sort, with various crates and containers with alien words marked on them in block letters.

Ulster waits for Castinus to do his thing trying to read the weird language.

Up to you and tumblingdice, of course, but it might speed things up to assume that Castinus tries to read anything we can't read. Just a thought.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes smiles a sly smile and chuckles "Yeah, Cap, let's keep a moovin', shall we?" As we begin to walk, Grimes says "Hey, do you suppose you could command those metal golem things since you have that card? I wonder if they could help us or escort us?"

Agreed. Castinus is always happy to practice his Hooked on, um, Illithid Phonics whenever he can.

Will keep that in mind, Tumbling.

Castinus reads the letters. He feels he's getting better at this tongue and notes that many of the crates read "Emergency foodstuffs" but a few read "Emergency Supplies" and one small brown box with violet labels on it reads “Repair Robot Remote Control”.

Castinus - human thief

Castinus smiles in satisfaction at the ease with which he deciphers the script. Emergency supplies. These could come in handy. Let's take a look.

The thief looks for a way to open the crate. He'll use his sword as a crowbar, if necessary.

The emergency supplies crates have a number of packets. There is a packet of 4 each of the following ampules: disease cure, poison antidote, radiation antidote. There are also 14 cannisters of healing spray, each containing 6 doses (2d12 per dose).

The emergency foodstuffs crates have packages of thin metal, it seems. They crinkle at the touch. They have words on them which Castinus reads as: Individual Survival Meals and come in a few varieties. Castinus opens one and within are what appear to be some food: a stew of some sort, a biscuit of some sort, and what appears to be a hard brown square. He finds dozens of them. (This is the equivalent of 100 days iron rations)

Dieter - Mage

Not so sure on the food... but the healing spray sounds like music.

OCC: Dieter will nab two of the healing spray canisters, that is some strong healing. Inventory updated.

Ulster nods at the translations until Castinus gets to one word. "Radiation? What do you suppose that is?"

"Well, if I don't know what it is, it's a good bet we can't cure it. We'd better bring that with us. Can't have too many poison or disease cures in a strange place, either."

Algrim shrugs at the question "Eh maybe radiation be some sort of magic?"

Castinus likewise grabs a couple of healing cannisters, and 3 packs of rations. He also grabs a radiation cure pack. "Don't know, Algrim," he says. "But knowing this place we'll probably find out soon enough."

Algrim shrugs and grabs some of the rations knowing that he already has a fair amount of trail rations already. Taking 3 rations (one of each different variety), 2 healing sprays, 1 pack with the poison antidote, 1 disease cure, 1 radiation antidote, though not knowing what the last is the dwarf just puts it all in his pack for now.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes grabs 10 of the rations, 2 of the healing sprays, one each of the poison, radiation and disease antidotes, stowing them all in his pack, except for a healing spray he tucks in his pouch.

He grabs one of the items marked "Repair Robot Remote Control" and he'll try to see what it does.

Dieter - Mage

Not sure if I could command the armed golum or not, next time we see one I'll give it a try.

Not sure what radiation is either, if it requires medication it cannot be good.
