Excellent, an easy end to the thing. Dieter will also approach to have a look see.

Furuk joins the others in inspecting the robot.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes will stand guard as the others examine the thing. In his best cranky mom voice he says "Be careful, that thing looked like it was pretty angry."

Grimes will watch and listen for any approaching metal reinforcements of other baddies.

Algrim moves up to look around the corner and see if anymore metal beasts are coming towards the group.

Algrim moves up and glances around the corner. He see nothing coming.



He hears a *bzzt* sound from behind him as some of the others go to check on the metal creature dripping water. ZAP! [2d6] = 3

Ulster, Dieter, Castinus, and Furuk receive small lightning shocks (tho Ulster is protected) from the water as Castinus opens the panel on the metal creature. Water pours from the open hole in the creature as Ulster's spell is finally able to fill the volume. Gallons and gallons spout from the creature until finally it is finished. The puddle fills the hall and then seeps slowly down as it drains into nearly invisible slots along the floor. Within, Castinus can see mutlicolored tubes and metal bits, not unlike the similar creature he examined earlier.

Algrim returns to the others noticing some hair standing up on most of them "Couldn't leave the durned thing alone eh?
Coasts clear up ahead."

Castinus curses at the pain from the shock, then looks to see if any of the mechanized beast's innards appear to have any value.

Dieter - Mage

Cringing at the shock he yelps a bit. He will peer into the dead metal monster: Fascinating.

Dandy chuckles. "Well, that'll teach ya fer sure!" He looks over the three and decides Castinus is the most in need. "Sit tight, Casty," he says, touching him with the staff of healing.

Furuk looks around the inside of the metal creature, but doesn't touch it.

Grimes - Fighter

Grimes chuckles at the others and says "And you guys said I was the rash one..." He points toward Algrim's position near the unexplored hallway and says "I'm with him. If there's nothing to this metal thing, then lets keep moving."

Algrim clears his throat and says "Again I say the coast be clear up ahead if yer done pokin and prodin inside that metal thing there."

Dieter - Mage

Sure, Algrim, let's be on our way. He will say with a smile. Thing just keeps on giving, even after dead.

Castinus finds three small gems inside that he is able to remove without injury. They appear to be worth 50gp each.

Dandy heals Castinus Heal [1d6+1] = 2+1 = 3 (feel free to roll your own heal rolls, merias)

Leaving the leaking metal thing behind, the party moves on. You come to an intersection that leads west. To the east the door has words in an unfamiliar script painted on it.

Dieter muses: Perhaps a type of golem? Dieter will wait to see if Castinus has some success.

Castinus reads the words on the door: PUBLIC SAFETY, and below, in smaller letters, To Serve and Protect. The door does not seem to require a card.
