Neither the door north nor south open with the cards.

Algrim shrugs clearly out of his element here in this odd structure with strange metal beasts and plantmen. "Dunno best keep searching around I guess."

The two doors to the west have the indications for a black keycard. The one north has a brown square, so might require something else.
The hallway turns sharply right. Two open doorways are to the north with a northbound corridor just beyond them. Ulster can smell vegetation from those rooms.

Neither the black nor they yellow card work with the door with the brown square. Trying them together also does nothing.

Right, gents, let's be on the lookout for more of these key things. Let's see what's down the hall a bit to the east.

"I don't like metal doors," grumbles Ulster.
Re: Chapter 24 - The Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, part 1
Grimes - Fighter
Grimes exhales loudly as the keys don't work on the brown slot. He holds up Wave and points it at the slot and says "I'm getting sick of this! Stupid metal things, veggie people, falling asleep... damn metal walls...." He grumbles and paces about, then says "I'm not for meeting any more of those damn vegetable things."
OOC: Grimes could try one of the black cards in the black slot, or he'll happily head toward veggie people, grumbling all the way.

Castinus smiles weakly at Grimes' antics, patiently waiting for him to try the black card.
These are ghouls. They hang out in graveyards, they have long tongues, and they eat people.

Re: Chapter 24 - The Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, part 1
The door slides open.
The room is a mess, in both senses of the word. The dining tables (metal) and chairs (also metal) are jumbled, and there are quite a number of skeletons and bones strewn about. There is an opening to a room in the northeast and a closed door to the northwest.

Grimes shakes his head, then he says "Okay, let's check these stiffs and see if we can find any more of these stupid card things or something that might help us open the other doors, okay?"
He starts to search the area for anything of interest...
