OOC chat
Re: OOC chat
A lot. Why?
Re: OOC chat
Ulster can transmute 96 lbs of metal into wood. Then warp the wood.
Just a thought for getting past one of those doors.

Re: OOC chat
Hey everybody, guess who just lost 90% of his old school RPG PDFs due to his own stupidity?
This guy.
I feel so...free, strangely enough. Fortunately, or unfortunately, what I have left is still enough for a lifetime of gaming. Three lifetimes in play-by-post.
This must be a sign to move on to 5th edition, or at least Pathfinder.

These are ghouls. They hang out in graveyards, they have long tongues, and they eat people.

What happened? If purchased through DTRPG or most other online stores, you should be able to re-download.

Yikes! I feel like perhaps we should hold a memorial, or a GoFundMe....

Re: OOC chat
This was old stuff that I can't download again. I had moved it from the cloud to our external hard drive a few months ago, because it was too tempting to pull it up at inappropriate times, like at work, etc. Then, of course, the hard drive failed. Plugged it in last night. No light. Burning smell.
Most of it I won't miss. There are ten modules and supplements I wouldn't mind owning again, but only four I could ever see myself using. One plan would be to revisit Night's Dark Terror for the second half of the adventure, the other to run The Lost City. Fifteen to twenty bucks and I'm back in business. Rest assured I will not be re-purchasing Master of the Desert Nomads. Low level stuff is where it's at.

Sorry to hear that.
I have a good collection of 1E pdfs. If there's anything specific you need, between all of us we may be able to come up with it.

Re: OOC chat
This is a weird question, but can a person using a potion of plant control give commands if he doesn't speak the plants' language? Or does the potion also grant the ability for the controller to make his wishes known?
Re: OOC chat
Sweet. Enjoy, Craigers.
Re: OOC chat
Given the scenario, not weird at all. Reading the potion description, I'd wager that the potion does grant the ability to make the imbiber's wishes known, as it works on both language-using and non-language-using creatures alike, there must be some sort of magical energy that allows thoughts to be translated as long as there is the verbal aspect to it. Or something like that.Zhym wrote:This is a weird question, but can a person using a potion of plant control give commands if he doesn't speak the plants' language? You guys all set for today's eclipse? We were handing out glasses left and right here at the library, but we've run out. Brandon, you should get a great view in your area.
