I had a really bad experience with mold... killed me,,,

"What strange armor," says Ulster. "What use could it be? An arrow would go right through it!"

He takes a closer look at the mold to try to identify it. Is it a normal mold that grows in damp conditions, one of the exotic molds that react to fire and infect people quickly, or perhaps even something he has never encountered before, like many of the other examples of vegetation in this place? If he has not seen it before, perhaps it has attributes that can give him clues about how dangerous the mold is.

Ulster is using his druid ability to identify plants.

Ulster checks out the mold. It, like many things in this place, is new to him and it appears to be inactive, but the druid is concerned that there is some nearby that is active. It has properties that he's never seen before, but he does notice a striking similarity between it and the veggie creatures. He's certain that they are related and even has a sneaking suspicion that they were once people similar to yourself but somehow transformed by the mold...

Looking at the two doors south, you choose one at random which opens easily.

A stange woman with odd, shiny skin greets you at the other side. She says, I see you require medical attention.

She advances on Algrim with a wicked looking device in her hand.
