Tavin - Monk
I don't recall if they were checked or not, another would be prudent.

The north door is ajar but the place beyond unexplored. The eastern door is closed and has never been seen open by the party.

Calmert: Cleric
"Oh, well let's have a peek behind the closed door, first. Just so we know what is or isn't there before we wander down another corridor?"

Thurwin - Wizard
THurwin nods at Calmert's suggestion. "Let's be careful, they could be looking for us, as I'm sure they are not too happy with our incursion."

You find the sergeant's cell. There is a bed and a small table, both of which have nothing of value.

Thurwin - Wizard
Thurwin surveys the room and then he points toward the door in the East corner and says quietly "Shall we try that one?"
OOC: Perhaps Odo can listen at the door and see if anyone might be behind it? I'm leery about these bugbears, probably all P'd off at being stink clouded and harassed...

Yes, let's see what is there... Tavin will also listen at the door.
Tavin has 15% hear noises:
Hear noises [1d10] = 1[1d10] = 8

I'm pretty sure Calmert's back-up plan is to point at Thurwin, and say in fluent Bugbear, "He made stinky!"badams30 wrote:OOC: Perhaps Odo can listen at the door and see if anyone might be behind it? I'm leery about these bugbears, probably all P'd off at being stink clouded and harassed...

Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
Nothing is heard from the door beyond and it is, on closer inspection, slightly ajar as if the door was closed but the latch failed to catch. It opens relatively easily to reveal a small corridor.
Sean mutters, Someone sure left here in a hurry.
The door at the other end is ajar as well.

Thurwin - Wizard
Thurwin nods at Sean's words and says quietly "Shall we check the next door and listen there? This is most peculiar."
OOC: Suspicious. I think we need to be very careful and have a plan to beat feet if this turns out to be a trap. Maybe out the same way we came in?

All is quiet behind the next door.

"Either we prepare to fight and open, or we back off. I suggest we back off for now in order to get a better idea of the topology and start a fight on our own turns if need be." says Calthas.

Re: Part 10 - The Temple Again
You hear something from the room now. It sounds like something heavy and metal has fallen onto the floor.
