Thurwin winces in pain at his misfired spell and he says "Men, I think perhaps we should take our leave before reinforcements arrive. The cloud should slow them somewhat, but it's obvious that they are calling for help." Thurwin backs out to the secret door again, preparing to withdraw.

OOC: This is going to get out of hand quickly if they have some reinforcements on hand. We should beat feet to someplace reasonably secure, maybe the minotaur room, or the room where we killed Sean's friends...

If they have reinforcements they'll just chase us in here, so maybe we should lead them to Troll guy, or Earth Eles, or something? Otherwise, let's just stay and fight because they'll just track us down and wait for their advantage.

Bror's words are not answered.
Odo "Masterful strike! In ict +2d6 damage with this strike." dmg [2d6] = 8 brings down a bugbear with an arrow twixt the eyes.
Calmert and Effric are less successful.
Tavin takes a swallow Heal [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5 and feels much better!
A foe drops in slumber and Calthas longbow [1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19, dmg [1d8] = 6 Calthas severely wounds another!
Sean melee [1d20] = 20 crit [1d20] = 2
"Slashes to head removes foe’s ear. In ict +1d6 damage with this strike and leave the enemy with a nasty scar." dmg [1d8] = 7 + [1d6] = 6 Sean vanquishes his foe.

Bugbears 1-3 are out of comission. Bugbear 4 again attacks Calmert monster attack [1d20] = 4 but the gnome is too quick for the brute.

Six bugbears, one with an arrow in its shoulder, come hacking from the green cloud Save vs poison [1d20] = 9, [1d20] = 6, [1d20] = 6 save vs poison [1d20] = 8, [1d20] = 5, [1d20] = 4 incapacitated for [1d4+1] = 1+1 = 2 and are all unable to join the fight at this time.
