Thurwin - Wizard

Thurwin rushes to Effric, wringing his hands in frustration. "Calmert, might Terjon be able to aid us somehow? We should at least try. Surely Effric's efforts can earn him some favor of St Cuthbert, right?"

OOC: A longshot, for sure, but perhaps we take this time to make our way back to Hommlett and see if the church can aid us. We need to divvy spoils as well, and worst case, we bury Effric properly. And as an aside, we can report back to Cheech and Chong, or whatever their names are.

Calmert: Cleric

The Gnome looks shocked, and then somber... "St. Cuthbert, I have healed all I can. Will you help me, help us, in this hour of need? Can you not migrate my higher-prayed powers to a lower state of healing or curing of poisons? Surely this evil brew is not beyond your reach!?" Placing his little hands on Effric, he prays.

Tavin - Monk

Effric! Tavin will also rush over and try to help revive his friend. Why? This place is a vile sewer of fetid evil, you don't go around putting things you find in your mouth here!

To his comrades: We should get him to the village...

Bror solemnly nods agreeing with Tavin "Aye that we should."

Calmert pleads with St Cuthbert but the neutralization of poison beyond his ability at this point.

The others decide to return to town with their spoils.

Leaving the rooms of the evil clerics, the party makes their way back up and out of the temple. wandering monsters [1d100] = 70
wandering monsters [1d100] = 71
They encounter nothing on the way out, wandering monsters [1d12] = 11 nor on the road back to Hommlet. It is early morning when you emerge from the Temple, late afternoon when you arrive in Hommlet. Lack of rest and carrying a dear friend makes the trip take a long time, it seems.

The party is Back in the Village.
