I see a huge downside, as it discounts previous roleplaying for which I give XP bonuses :)

Here's the XP since the last time, nearly a year ago:

Effric 30
Calthas 29
Tavin 28
Calmert 28
Thurwin 36
Bror 22 (Bror still got XP from actions prior to being taken over)
Odo 4 (Odo, being a new character, only gets XP from where he started.

I've included my spreadsheet. Took less time than anticipated.

Tavin levels up to third.

HP roll:

HP roll for level 3: [1d4] = 2 + 1

1d6 damage open hand, can speak with animals, AC dropped by one point

so is 22 the extra xp Bror earned or his total because when i took him over his sheet said he only had 10 total xp due to my moving him to the USS character sheet.

So Bror either has 22 xp or 32 total xp?

Reading more in depth, Tavin had a couple of things going for him that I did not factor in:

--Additional 1 and 1/2HP damage per hit by weapon or hand (3rd level of skill). He gets an additional 1/2HP of damage per level.
--An opponent is stunned by a monk for 1-6 (d6) melee rounds if the score of the monk's "to hit" die score exceeds the minimum number required for a hit by 5 or more. That probably would have stunned the last critter we ran into where he rolled a natural 20.

Shrug, documented in the notes section of Tavin's sheet.

unless i got the wrong information Bror is a long ways from leveling up with only a total of 32 xp and needing a whooping 2k xp and all.

Ya, Calmert isn't even close. :(

12 more points to go... maybe next year.

Oh, I was doing the XP bonus too, so if we're not doing that then he's 14 more points to go! :?

Kudos to greyarea...

I'm really happy with how you keep this game moving. This isn't to 'dis' other GMs that can't post as frequently because if anyone gets how "real life" throws a wrench into the best laid plans, it's me. I just want to give you a "Shout Out" for being attentive & engaged! I mean, it's a thankless job anyway no matter how often you post, so you should get something for your efforts, right? 8-)

And if any of you players think I'm just being a sycophant, well that's because you can't see my grumpy face :x - and me shaking my fist  - that Calmert hasn't gone up a level yet!

Oh, and this IS to 'dis' one badams30 for not running his game that he just teases me with! LOL

Stop it, Rik. He isn't giving you any more XP.

And hang in there, I'm getting pretty close to kicking off my new campaign. I'm trying to decide between Greyhawk or the Known Lands (The LL campaign world) or maybe something else. Leaning toward Greyhawkz

OMG! You're the only guy on the planet that I love so much, and love to hate, and hate that I love! hahaha - You just need to move you, the little man, and all your girls (Misty included) out this way! That's the end of it! I'll hear no more! Y'all are moving to Colorado! - period!

EDIT: Ya...
"PS:" Hurry up and start your game already! No matter the setting (although Greyhawk is cool, but no matter) they're all good with the right DM & players!

While I'd love to move to Colorado, the Missus and the little ladies are not so fond of climate that gets below 100 degrees and 100% humidity. Dang it. Besides, the local law enforcement would have to hire extra staff to deal with us.

I'm trying to get the new campaign rolling, it's gonna be great, mark my words. And I promise to not kill your character for at least the first 5-6 posts. Guaranteed. Honest. I'm a marketing guy, would I lie?
