My apologies. I've been busy lately and it's taken me away from the game. Plus I PM'd MajorRoy and I was giving him time to respond. I was checking to see if he was still interested in playing, but he hasn't responded. I am glad the three of you are still wanting to play, so we will continue on.

Looks like we have lost MajorRoy. He hasn't visited the site since March 23rd. Would someone like to run his characters in his absence?
Or is that frowned upon?

It is fairly common for people to take over characters, although it's always less satisfying than playing your own. In my observation, re-assigned characters tend to have a higher turn-over rate than newly made characters. So I tend to subscribe to a the "expediency over realism" school of replacing characters: get rid of the old and bring in the new and don't worry too much about how narratively cohesive the exchange is.

Maybe I should open the game up, see if some new players would like to join the game already in progress?

I'm fine with taking them over or with making and running replacements. If you prefer to bring in new folks that works. I just want to continue the game....and for the kobolds to like me. :)

I think an extra player or two could be nice.

I opened the game up for new players. I think you guys may need them to help with survivability as the party moves deeper into the mines.

The party is currently in the workshop on Level 2. From here there are two ways to get to the Mushroom Cave.

-Up the stairs back to Level 1 and head north.

-OR stay on Level 2, travel back to the Feasting Hall, and from there head north.

The party does not have an escort. Which way will the party go?
