Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
Korin draws steel and awaits a foe to stab with it.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
Ehm...it looks like only Storm read this information:
But now the 'cat is out of the bag', we might as well continue in open posts.
Phoenix sees the door slam shut and fails to reopen it this round. He hears a muffled roar somewhere beyond.
Ox, Korin and Norbold hear the door slam shut behind them, and then hear a roar from further down along the passage. Ox turns round and tries to open the door. Roll 1d6. He hears Phoenix knocking from the other side.
Phoenix, outside, notices that someone is trying to open the door from the inside. But doesn't formally know who it is.
which meant that the game temporarily continues by receiving information and stating actions via PMs, not in open posts, as the separated parties technically can't know what the other party is experiencing. Like we did a couple of times in The Pits of Wob.Now continuing via separate PM:s

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
”Guys? GUYS? What was that ... errrr .... ROAR? Am trying to open the door but it’s stuck. Hang in there!” says the gnome prestigidator starting to panic.
He will try once again to open the doorway.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
The wily gnome once again flexes his muscles, successfully pushing the door open, shoving the unaware Ox backward, who stumbles towards Norbold causing him to drop the torch. It does, however not go out but just illuminates all Phoenix' friends spookily from below. They all appear to be OK inside the passage.
Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
Phoenix beams at his prestidgous door opening powers! ”Here I come to save the day!!! Looking FABULOUS! Man I am stronger than I look. What was that noise guys? I think maybe we should piton open the door his time to stop it shutting, what do you think? Is everyone ok?
The little wizard keeps inside the doorway holding it open just in case it tries to shut itself on them all again.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
Korin sheaths his steel and takes to his pack pulling out a spike and hammer them moves to the door and takes up the gnomes suggestion "A sound idea, almost forgot i had spikes ta pin open doors." the dwarf then proceeds to hammer the steak in place to hold the door open.

Norbold Ernessaeia (Sylvanian Elf Cleric): Scale Mail AC 6 : Hit Points 6 / 6:
Oops! Perhaps had you added; Please respond back via another private PM ;P
Norbold, reaches down to retrieve the torch, unless he already sees the physical embodiment of the roar. He sees that Phoenix and Korin are occupied with the door, but keeps mindful of what if anything is coming up the passage for them, with sword at the ready, the whole time.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
Korin manages to secure the misbehaving door in open position. Tension is high - the four friends now reunited in the passage are on total guard, not sure what awaits them.
At the moment, no roars/growls can be heard - it has gone quiet again.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
Korin moving forward allows the torch bearer to be in the lead. Though the dwarf does ready his steel once more.

I think it is the second one.

Norbold Ernessaeia (Sylvanian Elf Cleric): Scale Mail AC 6 : Hit Points 6 / 6:
I guess 2nd marching order?
Norbold, realizing, he's now at the head of the party, gulps and goes, "Mmm, Ok, I guess we continue on forward now."
Again Norbold hugs the right side wall, walking sideways, sword in front of him, torch behind.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
The brave but hesitant quartet edge their way cautiously through the passage. As expected, Norbold reaches the part where it turns left slightly, and narrows down to 5' width - but then it seems to widen up again after a few steps, to continue onwards in the S direction.
Something around that bend sounds like it's alternately smacking its tongue, masticating and whining then occasionally muttering to itself. As a lonely giant humanoid pig feeling sorry for itself might do.

Korin chuckles "Eh? What elves lost their infravison? When did that happen?"
