Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
After having been briefly separated, all four are now reunited again, back in the northern passage, looking into the cave.
The ogre has recomposed itself from the spell blast and angrily takes up the chase, coming towards all of you while (surprisingly deftly), picking up the halberd on the way)!

Phoenix watches the cleric charge out into the darkness. He will remain within the opening of the cave tunnel, ready to react should the others attack.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
The friends tumble into the passage, almost falling on top of each other in the urge to escape the ogre. The ogre throws itself violently towards the opening, crouched down, in an attempt to follow them into the passage, but fails. It is too big to enter, and only manages to slam itself against the opening, causing stones and mud shards to fly in all directions, while extending its arm inside, clawing around, trying to grab someone. Its stinky breath bellowing into the tunnel, it roars angrily "Shabb hov stam lach! Po deh!"

Phoenix will wait for the others to pass and then throw two daggers at the bulk reaching into the tunnel.

Korin stays back out of reach wishing he could pull the spike he used to pin the door open.

Ox- Are we killing this ogre or running? It must be here to protect something. He pulls his bow and waits for a answer.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
As the group continues their scattered semi-retreat, Phoenix bravely throws his precious daggers at the ogre's arm clawing at them through the opening. The two tiny weapons hit their target, embedding themselves in the beast's sickly coloured hide, causing it to roar with irritation and pull back its arm. (take 2 daggers off Phoenix' inventory).
Ox has been covering Phoenix with his bow (and speculating on what the ogre might be watching over), while Norbold (urging the others to consider taking the ogre out) and Korin rushed towards the exit, stopping only for Korin to briefly meditate over the spike he secured the door with, and then announce his new strategy for entering the mound through another opening.

Phoenix hoping the ogre is out off by his stings, watches the others retreat. with such an advantage in the tunnel it seems a waste to retreat now that we are safe and have a clear shot at the monster” the gnome grumbles, watching the others leave and following the others reluctantly.

Before following the rest of the party deeper inside, Norbold stands there gloating at the Ogre,
"Now, maybe you should think about stopping in town to have a beer with us, or perhaps bleeding to death is more your thing."
Norbold waves the Ogre a goodbye and follows the party.

Korin will exit and step to the side awaiting the others to exit before moving over to the next entrance and going in after lighting another torch.

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
As the first of the group to exit this dark, huggermugger lair, Korin is almost blinded by the strong light outside. The sickly yellow sun is now high in the sky.
Blinking, Korin then spots a silhouette to his right, a tall figure standing posed on the river bank. Can you all see the above picture?

Re: Chapter 03: Minn's Mound
The figure, fair-haired and tall with a big smile on his lips, does not immediately reply. Graceful and muscular, he seems fairly relaxed, with an easy-to-go manner. For such a hot and humid day, he looks surprisingly cool. Over his leather armor is slung a nice looking grey jacket, matching his coarse gray linen trousers and high boots. Carrying a dagger in his belt, his handsome looks hint of good upbringing and background.
