Korin will fetch his throwing ax
When wading out into the water towards the snake (beside which the thrown axe lies in the wet mud), he gets so close that the snake starts slithering/swaying towards him again, jaws open wide, in (what looks like) attack mode. Stooping to pick up the axe would have to mean brushing up against the snake.
in that case i guess i have to switch to sword or dagger but i can't leave my throwing ax behind either. Which bodes worse for Korin now...

Thanks to Phoenix' nimble force-feeding, a few drops of the shimmering, honey-and-mercury-like liquid manage to trickle down into Norbold's innards. The effect is instant: colour returns to Norbold's complexion immediately, and his tense body seems to relax just a wee bit. But at the same time his wide open eyes snap to - and remain closed. He lies still and does not stir; but doesn't seem to be in toxic shock any longer. (Pyro, see PM)
The rest of the drops evaporate, and the vial is now empty & dry (but very pretty).
Korin is so despereat to retrieve his thrown axe that he enters another round of combat with Snake #1 - but misses. The snake gets angrier...

I don't think snake 1 was really hit much so likely it has minor wounds if any.

Ox- Fires his bow at the Snake. Korin maybe we should let the snake be. Norbold is down and we need to get him to safety.

Yet another well-meant-but-misguided arrow from Ox whizzes past Snake #1, bouncing off on the opposite marsh edge to instead randomly slice an innocent desert finch (somewhat unluckily named Rhodospiza obsoleta) that was flying past, in half.

In his aggravated attempts to retrieve his treasured throwing axe, Korin has now come perilously close to the enraged beast. It snarls <Hi-s-s-s-s!!!> and lashes out against the tough dwarf: Snake to hit: [1d20] = 5, damage: [1d3] = 3 / (PC must also save vs poison if injured)
but instead of getting chewed, all Korin feels is the flickering silky tongue of the reptile, kinkily caressing his stubby nose for a second.

The afternoon sun slowly continues to drag itself lazily across the sky over the valley, its dusty rays tickling the face of passed out Norbold.

Phoenix replaces the empty vial in his belt pouch and tries to drag the unconscious elf further away from the snake, to a place of relative safety. "Lords and ladies how much do you weigh? I thought elfses was supposed to be slight and slender. Must be carrying a little extra holiday weight I bet, the greedy hog!" the little gnome huffs as he pulls

Korin in his attempt will grab his ax and run over to help the gnome move Norbold.

While Phoenix makes an effort to drag unconscious Norbold away from danger (but not managing very well on his own), Korin breaks off from melee to reach for his axe, which allows Snake #1 another attack (as per DMG p. 70).
It is unfortunate, almost even unfair, that the brave dwarf, having gallantly thrown himself into danger to defend the team, and then bravely stood ground to keep the reptiles at bay for as long as possible, should now, as soon as he turns away, suffer the evil snapping fangs of Snake #1: Snake to hit: [1d20] = 19, damage: [1d3] = 2 / (PC must also save vs poison if injured)
- but these snakes have no concept of unfairness, their cold-blooded minds ruled by reptile instincts only.

is the snake within 20'?

If it is Phoenix will cast colour Spray at the snake. If not he will continue to try and drag the pointy eared heffer away.

you'll soon have a dead dwarf as well if we can't get this last snake dead soon, or drag the unconscious elf out of harms way.

Save v Poison (13) [1d20] = 7
Korin will continue to try and drag Norbold out harms way yelling "Someone kill the damned snake!"

Cool, then he will drop the elf and cast his spell, just inside of the 20' range so as not to get too close

A smattering of colours projects from Phoenix' fingers towards Snake #1. It is enveloped in a pulsating rainbow, swirling around its head, causing it to be stunned - but for how long, you cannot say.

However, Korin is unable to enjoy any of this visual show. Just an instant before Phoenix cast his spell, the snake's bite took effect and Korin froze, toppled backwards, landing on his back. He now lies staring vacantly at the open skies, just beneath the stunned snake. Like Norbold moments earlier, his dwarven skin has gone a ghastly pale.

As he's been knocked out for a while already, the thudding and farting that Norbold thinks he's experiencing are just fuzzy parts of a comatose dream, possibly caused by Phoenix' attempts to drag him to safety.

"Quick, the snake is dazed, grab the fallen pair and let's get out of here!" calls Phoenix in a rising panic as he sees the brace dwarf fall.

"Perhaps we can get him back to a healer who can slow and then neutralise the snake venom in time?"

He will aid Norbold to his feet and urge him to put some distance between him and the snake.

Backing away the gnome will whip out two daggers and hold them poised to throw if the snake recovers too quickly from his blast.

N.B.: both Norbold and Korin are comatose/unconsious/knocked out/lying on the ground due to having been bitten by snakes and failing their saving throws. It doesn't look like Norbold can stand up. However, Ox and Phoenix working together should be able to lift/carry each fallen comrade a short distance, one at a time.
