Zeke ties a rope around the carapace and drags it back to the police station. He stashes it there for the time being.

Then he climbs up to the roof and checks the gyrocopter to make sure it's in working condition.

Heading back downstairs, he chats with Seven.

So, if you're not keen on flying the friendly skies, how do you propose we get into the raider camp?

The gyrocopter works, though the fuel tank is on fumes at the moment.

Zeke says, Yeah, sure, you can get there on a bike. How about this? You set up in a good sniper spot and signal me, and then I'll land in the courtyard. You cover me while I open the gates and then you can come in. Does that work?

Note to self: gotta get a Pip-Boy of my own soon.

Seven nods though in the darkness likely Zeke cannot see it. "Yep, though what you gonna do about it being out of fuel?"

Zeke ponders for a moment and then says, No easy way to do it. So I'll wait 20 minutes until I assume you're in position and then buzz the compound again. If no one comes out, or after you shoot everyone who does, I'll land and you can come in.

If you run into any trouble on your way in there, make lots of noise and I'll come to you.

Zeke fuels up the gyrocopter and then confers with Seven on where they're going to stash his bike while he gets into sniper position.

Once Seven leaves, Zeke starts the count to 20 minutes. He checks the ammo on his pistol and shotty a few times until he's satisfied.

The compound is quiet, save the static hum of a radio playing some random song into the night. From a distance, you do not see any lights in the camp. The front gate is shut, meaning that someone is still probably inside. The raiders aren't complete fools to leave a camp unattended, you think....

If preparations are set and plans are finished being shared, twenty minutes go by and then the flash of pip-boy light following soon after.

Zeke fires up the gyrocopter, lifts into the air, and heads for the compound. Seeing no lights, he changes plans. He drops a flare, lands the copter quickly, and heads straight for the gate to open it.

The brief roar of the gyrocopter's engine was enough to wake up a few raiders inside the camp. When a flare is thrown inside, Zeke can hear the sounds of a commotion within. You are near the front gates.

From afar, Seven keeps watch of the situation through the scope of a hunting rifle. The flare brings much-needed light to the situation and allows Seven to spot a few raiders as they exit their huts of wood and scrap metal. The raiders are not sure what to make of the flare at first, not expecting the others to be back so soon. They shield their groggy eyes from the glare of the flare and instinctively reach for their sidearms.

Zeke takes cover behind the gyrocopter and also starts shooting at the raiders with his shotgun.

You both caught the raiders by surprise and got your attacks in before they could react.

Of the 5 raiders that were left in the camp, you dropped two of them within seconds. Three remain.

I apologize for the delay, was distracted by other things in RL.

The shotgun burst and the pistol shot misses wide, and the Raiders are able to take up some cover (a -2 to your rolls, when being attacked).

One fires off a pipe pistol at Zeke. [1d20] = 16 and manages to graze him for [1d6] = 4 points of damage.

Another Raider pops up from cover and tries to take a shot at Zeke as well. [1d20] = 5 He misses wildly. The third raider tries to look for the second source of gunfire and.... [1d20] = 1 accidentally stares at the flare again, blinding himself once more!
