You find just such an area for quick refuge. I will let you decide what kind of place it is in this ruined city.

Seven waves the other two to follow him "This way boys. Found an old police station, looks in good shape and might still have some armor and weapons we can salvage." hoping back on his bike he leads to the police station in hopes of salvaging some items of use.

Zeke looks doubtful but follows along.

I would have thought any place like that was stripped clean long ago but maybe the raiders and ghouls kept the scavengers away.

Seven shrugs "Surprised the Brotherhood hasn't claimed it yet."

The station still seems to be structurally sound; however, it would appear as if someone has been here before. The boarded up windows, the slabs of metal nailed to small holes in the brick wall, and littered cans all over the place tell such a story. The inside of the station has also seen some better days. The area is a wreck, but you notice certain key features still in place, that should belong in a police station, a room full of jail cells, an office area with aged computers and printers, a front reception lobby, a records area, a garage and a barracks.

Each room seems to have a barrel dragged in, used for illumination by raiders no doubt. Nuka Cola bottles can be found all over the place and the occasional piece of random junk. As you inspect the barracks for gear, your suspicions are proven correct. The raiders got to the stuff first, but no bedrolls or anything like that were left behind. Perhaps they have moved on from this place? A few doors remained locked, mainly the garage and a storage room.

Seven "Still structurally sound, and a bonus is a place to store the bikes. Plus if we have any need to lock someone up we have cells." said with semi-mock optimism still none too surprised the place was looted, but still happy it is not occupied.

Zeke produces a skinny piece of steel and attempts to pick the locks on the garage and the storage room.

Deuce while the two heavies are inside, will check around the perimeter of the building to see what he can spot in the way of utility and outbuildings ect. He also keeps an eye on the horizon using his binoculars periodically.

With a 20, you pretty much have a free pass and can dictate what happens next, what your character finds, etc. Had something particular in mind? Well a 20 just made it so.

The garage and storage room opens after Zeke's lock picking. The storage room looks like just that, a storage room full of cleaning goods and supplies for maintenance. To the untrained eye, you are looking at a bunch of aged junk, but you know better. In here are a bunch of valuable chemical components, adhesives, and various other parts that can be salvaged and put to good use.

The garage bares a similar sight upon opening, treasures among trash. The remains of an old police van can be found in there, but it looks like it will take quite a few parts to get it up and running again. However, you spot something buried under a heap of torn dirty rags. The gauntlets to a suit of power armor.

The Raiders were thorough with their raiding of the place, at least in the areas they could break into, but Seven manages to scrounge up something hidden behind the lockers in the barracks. A Vault-Tec Lunchbox filled with caps and... you can pick. Has to fit within a lunchbox though.

Deuce Hoops and hollers, seeing nothing on the horizon, but stumbling upon a site that at first looks like a pile of junk, but proves to be a gyrocopter. He rushes over and throws off a few pieces of scrap wood and metal and reveals a cleverly hidden flying machine. Looks like it is all there too.

Seven is shocked to see something not exactly what he wanted but it'll do... a Pimp-Boy 3 Billion. :D

Zeke grabs the gauntlets first, excited that he's finally begun his quest to own a set of Power Armor. He throws them in his pack for now.

He then runs outside to see what Deuce is hooting and hollering about.

Well damn! Looks like this place is the proverbial jackpot!

I'm liking the shift from Fallout to Mad Max with the gyrocopter!

Seven comes to see what Deuce found, and looks around the gyrocopter finds a picture near the gyrocopter "Wonder if this guy was the former pilot of that thing."

Zeke snaps back to reality.

All right lads, we'll have time to enjoy all this later. Let's move on and find this raider camp and the missing kid. I assume with two Pip-Boys now, this should be a walk in the park, eh?

Deuce checks out the flying machine excitedly to see if it is gassed up and in good condition to fly.

[1d20] = 18

He begins clapping and hopping up and down like a boy at Christmas!

He climbs into the pilots seat and fires it up! Turning on 'Flight of the Valkyries' by Wagner on his Pip-Boy he laughs like a mad scientist over a rocket and puts on his goggles saluting his companions.

Seven "Got ourselves a real mad hatter there don't we? Damn crazy bastard I'd rather stick to the ground than be flying. You find any power armor or a damned armored attack vehicle in the garage?"

Zeke replies, I did find the arms to some Power Armor. Not sure which type just yet. And there's a van in there but it looks like it's in rough shape. So anyway, are we going to continue to scout or are we using the gyrocopter?
