Chapter 1 (GreyWolfVT, sulldawga, Bluehorse)
Re: Chapter 1 (GreyWolfVT, sulldawga, Bluehorse)
Deuce "... Huh? Oh...!!!" He guns it popping a wheely briefly as he lurches forward. Pulling his new pistol he will take aim and fire.

You successfully hit one of the Radscorpions.... one of them will definitely chase you now. The other loses interest pretty quickly and burrows into the ground. They are still some distance away and cannot reach you yet, and with your bikes speeding away as they are, you may be able to lose it.

Zeke
Sighing deeply, Zeke sees that Deuce is opening fire so he grabs his shotgun and pumps out a shell at the radscorpion the next time it surfaces near him.

Seven takes a pistol saving the ammo in the "big baby" for the raider camp, and fires at the one radscorpion still following them due to Deuce's attack on it. [1d20] = 16

Re: Chapter 1 (GreyWolfVT, sulldawga, Bluehorse)
The force of the bullet coming out of Duece's gun was enough to stop the radscorpion. His Pipboy makes a bullet ricochet sound and displays a cartoon giving the victory sign with his fingers. Critical Hit flashes on the screen. The radscorpion twitches, and Seven is quick to stop the twitching with a shot from his pistol.
Fortunately, that was the last encounter upon reaching the city's borders. Now, you are in raider and ghoul territory.

Zeke stops and waits for the others to catch up.
Do we stop and take the time to salvage some parts from the radscorp? Might be worth some caps... Or else we hide it now and come back for it later.

Deuce
Do what you want, but I'm not getting anywhere near that thing.
Getting an idea he checks his pipboy curious if it has a way to search and see if there is a market for such a thing.

While waiting for Seven to chime in, Zeke looks around to see if there's a place where they could quickly and easily hide the corpse.

Seven stops and waits listens to the talk of the radscorpion salvaging "I don't care much for the taste of radscorp meat but I heard yah can use the poison glads for something so maybe salvage what we can now and pray it doesn't go bad before we can get back to town."

Zeke draws his machete and goes to work on the radscorp corpse. He's looking to salvage the stinger and poison gland first, and then see if he can remove the carapace in one piece to make some armor.
Lastly, he'll see if he can carve out some meat to turn into radscorpion steak.

Re: Chapter 1 (GreyWolfVT, sulldawga, Bluehorse)
Deuce fiddles with the knobs, dials and buttons on his PipBoy, but cannot seem to find a search directory for bringing up that sort of information. He does however stumble across a radio station. A short feature on the adventures of the Silver Shroud is playing right now. Messing with the V.A.N.S. mode, a scan of the radscorpion reveals some blips on the map of the area stored in your PipBoy. There is a blip close by in terms of bike distance, most likely the other radscorpion you managed to outrun. Zooming out the map reveals a few more pockets of blips.
To successfully recover the poison gland and stinger, roll an 11 or higher, 10 and below means the parts are no good. Do the same for recovering the carapace. The meat is an easy harvest and will not require a roll.

Zeke gets to work on the radscorpion. He deftly chops off the stinger, carves out the poison gland and, with a flourish, slices the carapace off in one solid piece. Left exposed is a prime chunk of meat, which he cuts free in no time.
Packing it all up on his bike, he wipes the guts off his hands and his blade, and signals to the guys that he's ready to roll.
What's the Pip-Boy say? Can we plot a path around trouble?
[1d20] = 18 radscorpion stinger
[1d20] = 18 radscorpion carapace

Seven "Might be worth locating a makeshift safe house or HQ in this area just as a fall back position if need be."

Maybe we drive a little slower, be on the lookout for a stretch with pavement and not dirt, so they can't track us. Then we can see if there's a spot for a hidey-hole if we need to dodge pursuit.

Seven nods once "Sounds like a plan to me."

Deuce is still messing with the pipboy, the look on his face shows he is not at all sure what he is doing with it. "Im guessing this thing is showing me where more scorpions are at the moment. Only one way to find out, I suppose."

Roll a d20. 11 or higher and you found a suitable location. A 5-10 means that there might be one, but its not paved. A 1-4 means that you could not find any locations to temporarily hide or fall back to.
Re: Chapter 1 (GreyWolfVT, sulldawga, Bluehorse)
Zeke can find some paved areas, and an area that looks like a good place to hide, but he can't combine the two.

Seven looks for anything that looks uninhabited but secure and near a clear patch of road. [1d20] = 15
