Zeke points out the general location of the raider camp to the ghoul.

Good luck if you head that way.

Zeke then heads into the safehouse and looks for evidence that the ghoul actually made it inside.

It wouldn't be much of a "safe" house if anyone could just walk in, now would it?

All the entrances to the safe house appears to be in working order, no forced entry.

The ghoul appreciates the tip and heads towards that direction. "I don't blame you all. It's every man for himself out here in the wastes. I just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Perhaps we will bump into each other again in the future." With that he nods and departs.

Zeke washes up, grabs some food, and sleeps for eight hours.

Then he's ready to head to the settlement to do some trading!

Deuce holsters his gun and moves to park and hide his bike, cutting the engine. Grabbing his loot he proceeds inside the safehouse. "That one gave me the creeps... Not sure I like the idea of someone like him sculking about our hideout, much less knowing where it is."

Zeke says, in between bites of food, If that ghoul is as good as finding lost kids as he is at finding safehouses, the doc's kid will be home in no time. I am kinda curious as to who he is, though. We should ask around at the settlement when we sell our stuff.

Deuce follows suite rummaging through the food they brought home until he finds something he likes and goes to work opening the can and eating. "I don't like it. We usually have bullshit going on around here. It's the way of things. But kidnapping little boys? This is another level of bullshit that will lead to bigger bullshit."

The three of you find the necessary respite you need in this wasteland, your safe house having been properly stocked. After tallying your loot, and sharing your opinions on the matter of the missing child and ghoulish visitor, you all agree that a stop by the nearby settlement is in order, if only to exchange your loot for supplies you need.

If that is the end of your business here, you set out and reach the settlement with ease, your bikes carrying you far and quickly.

Zeke takes his food to the gunsmith first.

Mighty Joe, how's it going? I've got some cans for trade. Oldies but goodies. What you got?

Seven goes to the gunsmith as well "Stocking up on ammo is about all I need. Maybe more dynamite too."

Mighty Joe's face lights up when Zeke pulls out the sack of canned goodies. With a hearty laugh, he says to Zeke: "If you've got them good ole' Pork N' Beans, I've got a gun with your name on it!" Food is a valuable commodity for trading in this game and could be considered fair exchange for equipment and supplies.

Joe looks over at Deuce and Seven. "No boom sticks today pal, but I do have a shotgun and shells. Got them caps?" He waves his hand before his grand display of deadly weaponry and munitions. All behind steel bars of course...

A d20 roll will determine whether you have enough or not. Just need a 10 or higher. 9 or less and you may have to do some bartering.

Seven holds up his two different guns "Ok how about ammor for these then?" One gun is a break action 44 magnum revolver the other is a scoped 44 magnum revolver.

[1d20] = 9

Seven and Deuce does not have enough caps on hand to get their ammo and weapons that they want, based off of the rolls you two made. Bartering is in order, or an exchange of services. What you have to offer, or what you could do for the Gunsmith, is up to you guys.

"Two cans of food in one day?" Mighty Joe exclaims. "This must be my lucky day! Good thing I have friends like you guys, eh? Tells you all what, two cans of food and you can all have what you want."

Zeke gets a sly look on his face. Got any laser or plasma weapons? With charged power cells?

If not, Zeke's wish list looks like this:

Sniper rifle (anything from hunting rifle on up to a .50 cal will do)
Shotgun (pump action, better for ghoul killing than his little two shot sawed off on his bike)

He wants at least three clips of ammo or a box of shells to go with each weapon.

If Mighty Joe can't do that, then Zeke's secondary wish list is:

Automatic weapon (AR-15 or Kalashnikov)
Powerful handgun (.44 Magnum or .45 Desert Eagle)
Less powerful handgun (9 MM Beretta, less stopping power but more rounds per second)

Zeke will put up a second can if Mighty Joe has any decent body armor.
