I was really holding out hope that Jernau35 would come back to us, but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen anymore.SirOwen wrote:I would be willing to try a second character. I'd have to go back and read up on how they've been played up to the point the player left off.
Since Wes is such a vital character, I hate to just retire him if someone would like to take him over.
I think I will keep Keilif as an NPC for the time being though. He has a lot of vital information to share and might make a great full time NPC with his grumpy demeanor.
I guess I would also entertain players just rolling up something new as well. I wouldn't let 2 characters run by the same player adventure together, but I don't see any reason that active players couldn't control 2 separate characters. I will contemplate this on the tree of wool.

I will leave that up to Sir Owen, since he responded about it first. If he doesn't want to, or would rather create something new, you can definitely take him over.Storm11 wrote:I don't mind taking on Wes if you would like someone to do so.

Given the sea beast situation and Monocar again unconscious, I cannot help but think there is a joke about sinkers and floaters that would be appropriate for the situation...

I can't help but think that someone who played with Wes would be a better choice. They already know the character and would come closer to doing him justice. So Storm is welcome to take him. Good luck!
As soon as I started Avalaa, I began working on a new character... you know... just in case. If additional manpower is needed, and a 1st level monk (Player Handbook, not Oriental Adventures) would be welcome, he is damn near ready now.
(I know.... 1st level magic-user and now a first level monk. I must be a glutton for punishment!)

If you really want him, I will try to figure out how to transfer him over to you so you can make his rolls.Storm11 wrote:I don't mind taking on Wes if you would like someone to do so.
This could take a while.

Hey, look at that. I'm a Ranger Lord, finally. You all have to listen to me now! ...I think. I'm in charge now, right? How does this work, again?

Sorry, dude, but you are only a poor Ranger Knight. You have over 600 posts to achieve the exalted status of Ranger LordBluehorse wrote:LOL! Hale fellow ranger lord! Let us go find a mead hall full of rangerettes and celebrate over a flagon!

But you do carry yourself like a ranger lord, Bluehorse, and that's half of it.
Now please, step back from behind the velvet rope.

Still if you want some sage advice I say, if we have enough thyme we can beet the lot of them. Lettuce go at once or we might be sorrel."
Love the sorrel reference.
Reminds me of Christmas time.

Storm will be taking over control of Wes the druid from here on out as it seems evident that we have lost Jernau35 for good now. (if he does come back, we will accept him back into the fold with open arms. Just in case he is reading this)
Since Wes and Saracen are not currently in the same group, he can start running him right away.
Thanks for the help Storm!
