Quest #33 "Wizards, Temples, and Obelisks, Oh My!"

#1 Post by OGRE MAGE »

Okay, lets kick this one off already! :D

The Fellowship Of The Silver Circle
Waterday, 3rd of Harvester
Early Morning, Warm, Humid, Buggy

After several days of resting and magical research in Beachtown, Andron has an idea.......

Believing that the Fellowship's next step is to travel north to find the rumored ruined temple, and possibly the location of the second obelisk, the priest of Rao gathers his friends to discuss their upcoming journey.

Actions?

Andron AC10 13/13 CL: 1st:4/4 2nd:3/3 MU: 2/2
Tlachtga AC7 23/23 1st:5/5 2nd:4/4 3rd:2/2
Maag AC5 17/17
Alordan AC3 22/22
Gramble AC3 24/24
Lerrick AC5 20/20 1st:5/5 2nd:4/4
Cresty AC4 11/11

A marching order can be finalized for me while you make your final preparations.

For updating sheets - particularly food as that seems to have been depleted for some reason - is it okay to use PHB prices and items or something other?

Items purchased at the Hi-Lo have a mark-up of 5x their listed price.

Speaking of which, what's the practical difference between standard and iron rations?

I figured that much, but how long would standard rations last? Probably not much longer than a week, I'd guess. Although, with access to Purify Food & Water it's rather a moot point.

1 week of iron rations bought at the outrageous price of 25gp (deducted).

There's also encumbrance. Iron rations weigh 7.5 lbs. Standard rations weigh 20lbs.

Biggest thing for me was always the encumbrance.

Tlachtga

"May I suggest Alordan goes first and I will follow? That way we can look for animal sign and keep our eyes out for birds and what not so that I can hopefully locate an animal companion."

Reminder, she has her new 3rd level Druid innate powers, ID plants, animals and pure water and pass without trace and heavy/thick vegetation no longer reduces her movement rate.

Forgot to add, her secondary skill is Hunter/Gatherer, should be useful here especially combined with her Innate powers.

Andronichishche

Please, by all means. I have no aptitude in wilderness exploration. I am quite out of my element.

He moves down into 5th position.

Tlachtga

Looks good to me.

Tlachtga keeps some dried meat handy and scans along as she goes looking for a suitable bird or any animal sign in general.
