B S Here (I)

#1 Post by OGRE MAGE »

This will be a place for anything non game related.

I prefer to keep the main game thread as free from clutter as possible so please post ooc stuff here instead of there. Thanks!

Private threads are done. I will start populating them as I get the time.

I will take up any more individual sheet issues that we have there.

Nuke and spearmint, please take a look at Inferno's spell tab on his sheet and fashion yours the same way. Continuity is going to be extremely important for me in this game. Thanks!

Great start everyone!!!

Do me a favor, please. When making a post, add your characters name in bold at the top of your posts so we can all quickly learn who is playing whom.

Thanks!

(extra thanks for those of you already doing this)

You think they ran into one of Crack Tons I heard the sailors talking about in the Tavern? I heard they have claws on their testicles and they can grab you with them or crush a ship... Can you imagine getting grabbed by one of those things? Said they have a beak like a rooster too... I think they were making that up. Called the monster Pico De Guy-o or something like that.
Loving this!

Just as a heads up, there's a chance I may be UA for a day or 2, due to that massive winter storm rolling across the midwest. We're expecting up to 1/2" of ice between now and Sunday.

Yeah, it was an autocorrect suggestion from hell that inspired the rest of that :) i figured if i was laughing that hard, everyone else would too. Plus I figured it would help estabish "Not Caramon Majere" as a liveable dimwit.

No problem Rex.
Ya, we just had that crap for the last 2 days here. Every flat surface in town is covered in an inch of ice. It's really great!

Hell, we got over 4' of snow on the ground that will be here 'til April, but at least the -30 temps are out of the forecast.....daytime highs above freezing even.

Right, now I'm in the mood for some 1970's-style Old School adventure on the High Seas:

Really digging the posts so far everyone! (except for the meme's  )

With a few players still in the process of creating characters, and posts popping up in both PM's and also in private threads, I am admittedly having a few issues getting back to everyone.

If you asked me something or made a suggestion that I didn't reply to...... PLEASE do it again.

Once everyone that is playing has a private thread set up, all of this type of info should remain in the same place. That will smooth this process out considerably. Thanks for your patience in this matter.

"Who is Mr Nehru?" she asks the bespectacled scribe when she gets the chance. "I heard his name mentioned, is he the chief honcho on the island settlement? How would I get an introduction of some kind if he is?"
I didn't answer that one because the scribe is part of the crew.

They are not allowed to "openly" speak to the passengers. (if you get my meaning) :D

If any of you are curious about 'the wood so dense it doesn't float':

http://www.core77.com/posts/25224/lignu ... more-25224

It actually exists. It's hard to work with (of course) but it makes beautiful turned bowls. You'll know if if you see it, because the finished pieces are olive green.

/end of wood nerd data dump.

These fish are gonna kill us.
Any ideas?
Maybe a spell that befriends or talks to animals can save our sorry necks? :)
