I was hoping you would say that.

Back to the late Devrin Treesong for just a moment. Assuming that the Aquatroll doesn't make off with his body, there is booty to be had both on the corpse and in his shack. Just sayin'.

Re: B S Here
Hey! As the first causality, shouldn't SirOwen get a prize or something? Heck, it was a pretty gruesome death too. Like something out of one of the Pumpkinhead movies. Maybe he xan get a point of inspiration for a reroll or a bonus of some kind?Monsieur Rose wrote:Wow. Just got up to date.

OM: How much movement can Jack take, if any, and still fire 2 arrows?Inferno wrote:Jack, lost boy:
Once Monocar is clear, Jack fires two dead-eyed arrows into the thing from medium range.
"Take that, mothersucker! ...No wait. That's not right."
Also, outdoor missile weapon range is in feet or yards, in your house rules? Thanks.

You can shoot 1 arrow and still take half of your movement rate. (or vise versa)Inferno wrote: OM: How much movement can Jack take, if any, and still fire 2 arrows?

You can only move up to 10 feet (similar to spell casting) and still fire your full compliment of missiles. (2 arrows, 2 daggers, 3 darts, etc.)
Range for missile fire will be figured in yards outdoors and feet inside.
Any shots from medium range will incur a "to hit" penalty of -2. Any missiles fired/thrown from long range will be at -5 to hit.
I will post this stuff in the house rules thread as well.
Re: B S Here
Thanks. I thought it was feet for some reason. Maybe for spells outdoors?
In this case, since it's yards, I'd like Jack to be as far away as possible and still be in short range. If this isn't possible, no problem.
Thanks.

Re: B S Here
Yes. That was for spell range only.
A short bow has a range of 50 yards outdoors so you should have no problem keeping away from it without incurring any penalties to your to hit rolls.

Re: B S Here
Due to the weird work week here in the states, I will give those who haven't posted in a while a little more time before pushing the action along in all of the threads.
If you haven't posted yet, please do so soon, or your action will be NPC'd. Thanks!

It was indeed a long holiday weekend!
Being a "military family" makes it even longer it seemed!
I'll be "on track" from now until the next big thing: we are moving AGAIN in a few weeks to California from Texas.

Oh my freaking god, everything about this post is awesome! LOL! Jack is definitely my favorite character I am reading right now!Inferno wrote:Jack, lost boy:
"Cockshitter!" Jack cries as he slides ten feet toward the shoreline and fires two more unerring arrows at the sea creature, aiming at its forehead.
Jack: Arrows: to hit: [1d20+4] = 20+4 = 24, [1d20+4] = 18+4 = 22, damage: [1d6] = 1, [1d6] = 2

Jack's attempts at swearing remind me of a story Isaac Asimov told (in his book of humor, no less!) about a couple he heard arguing about their kids. Apparently, they were just learning English at the time. The quote I remember is "You no more fit to raise children than godsake!"
