You just have to make sure to keep the burning, pointy end away from you.

(Very carefully?) bud ump bump!
Don't forget to tip your waitress!

In combat, it takes a round to get a torch out and lit.

Also, arrows don't just burn very well on their own, especially after being shot through the air. They must have an accelerant (oil) applied to them first. This also takes a round.

In this current situation, the monster will be long gone before any flaming arrows could be successfully utilized.

However, in the future, you might be better prepared for such a thing. :D

OM is taking a while to resolve thst last part in our thread. Me thinks this means either Monocar did something awesome, or his face it about to get eaten. Should we start an office pool?

Actually, I was hoping that the last two players would post their actions before I responded, but I wont be waiting for them much longer.

I think I have lost count on how many characters that I am currently NPC'ing. :(

 I didn't mean for that to sound so bitchy.

I might entertain the idea of someone else taking over for abandoned characters.

Or allowing my frequent posters to run more than one character.

Anyone have any interest in something like that?

I can only handle one character, but that's just me.

Maybe the hyper posters form one party, and the laid back posters another? :)

I was hoping to do that eventually, once everyone was familiar with each other.

I do like how the groups are forming organically, though. Hmmmmm.....

I would be willing to try a second character. I'd have to go back and read up on how they've been played up to the point the player left off.
