Re: OOC: chat and questions, discussions and actions:
you missed the first group on here that Zhym had for ravenloft we had a wheel of fortune if I recall the second group found the deck so crazy indeed. Grognardsw had some of those items in one of his prior games he ran on here too War is Hell - Palace of the Silver Princess you should scour the completed game forum and read through that sometime

Re: OOC: chat and questions, discussions and actions:
I wasn't around for the Wheel of Fortune, but the Deck was bru-TAL! Not many things can take a fairly powerful party and pretty much decimate it like the Deck can, and the kicker is that it is voluntary to draw from it. After we saw how horribly things went for the first person to draw, the rest of us, myself included, could have passed. But the possibility of great reward is a very strong lure. The bad thing is that if we were to find a deck of cards in this campaign, I don't know how I'd play it because this character would know nothing of the Deck of Many Things.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Right Scott, having witnessed it's power in other games as a player I would be hesitant as a character if i knew nothing of it's powers I'd be tempted as heck to draw a card, or spin the wheel, roll the die whatever the case was.
