@ Zeromancer
Ok so so far Red Path sounds popular. Hirelings yes but I really don't think you need a small army of them. One maybe two per person or less. Ideally a group of half your party's size could set a hidden camp with the camels well out of sight, you all can set up traps or glyphs to protect the camp but ideally 6 hirelings should be good 8-10 at most.

Hirelings are good - they soak up the incoming melee attacks instead of us! Huzzah!

There's also a chance they'll get hit if enemies with bows fire into a group.ravenn4544 wrote:Hirelings are good - they soak up the incoming melee attacks instead of us! Huzzah!

LOL! Yeah, that is how it works. Also, if they die on the way back then you dont have to pay them.

Ok hirelings are not very hard to come by just throw out a number and I can throw out a cost I don't want to spend too much more time on supplies and all that I'd like to move you all into the next step heading out I just wanted to get the right time of day details before I say ok yo leave in the morning with the rise of the sun.

There's not much I can do since I took Ameer out of the thread when he went back to his apartment. All these IC party decisions, including the number of hirelings, are beyond his ability to influence. Also, to preserve that disconnect, I am keeping the number of hirelings he's bringing along somewhat ambiguous. He has some, that's all I want to say. I'd like to advance to the next day, and depart preferably an hour or two before sunrise. We can get around alright with the predawn light, especially along a path many have traveled before.

Bandir is Abrex’s alter ego.
Posts corrected.
But it looks like hireling have been handled with group funds. Let’s put this to rest and move on

Oh right. Hehehe. Sorry, with all the new PCs joining I thought I had missed one. Abrex has an alter ego! Does he only communicate through expressive dance?Cwreando wrote:Bandir is Abrex’s alter ego.

Is Bandir another character you play? Just curious.
Greys Campaign.
