Sakina Falls Complex:

Listening at each door, door 1 (northern most door) it smells of grapes other than that nothing is heard, door 2 smells like hay and it sounds like mules?, door 3 nothing is heard at all and it does not have any specific smell near the door.

Door 1 is a single door, with the aroma of grapes and yeast.
Door 2 is a double set of doors with the aroma of Mules and Hay.
Door 3 is a single door with no aroma at all.

No traps are found to be on any of the doors, and that is anticipated since the place is typically well hidden under the falls, likely nobody thought anyone would be able to figure out the password to enter the place.

Some are more ambitious than careful as Asad tells Anuzal to open the door but Anuzal continues to check each door with Rahkeem and Dubb in tow. The dwarf sniffs at each door and relays the same smells that Anuzal and Rahkeep can easily smell as well when standing at each door.

Each door has been checked only two from the smell and sounds might have something or someone on the other end of the door, those would be door 1 & door 2. Question resides in which door is opened first?

Actions?

Map: Door 1 is at the top of the map, door 2 is middle of the map & door 3 is at the bottom of the map.

Jamal will head over to the door that smells of hay and open it, peering within carefully, Alara hovering at his shoulder, staff at the ready.

Abrex Myzeen LN Faris: AC 0 : HP 14 : Thac0 19

Abrex stands ready to move in once the Anuzal has a chance to look it over. Abrex motions for the others to stand to the sides so their not visible when the door opens and leave room for Anuzal to stand to the side and peak in to check for movement and traps past the doorway.

Jamal opens the double doors (door 2) in the middle of the room and sees the following:

This unadorned room houses the mules. There are six stalls, plenty of hay, and tack and harness along the north wall.

Anuzal- Follows Jamal thru the doors. He comes to the corner and peers cautiously down each direction. If there no signs of danger he will head towards(door #3) and listen again for any noises. If there is no noise he will slowly open then door and peek in.

Emma

Steps into the room with everyone else. Getting a look around she gets an idea and checks the tack on the wall for marks or insignia, maybe a name to offer a clue to who they may be up against.

Jamal looks to see if there are any mules currently in the stalls. Perhaps if they are gone it is a good sign not everyone who stays here is home.

Are there doors at each end of the stables? The halfling will quietly go to the door the others are not heading towards and listen for any sounds coming from it.

The stalls are similar to the stalls at any standard stable though they are empty of the 6 mules that would normally be in them. You can still smell a faint mule smell, though the stalls look to be mucked within the last day or two. The door nobody else is going to at the moment Jamal goes to and it is the one that smells of grapes nothing is heard from the door (door 1).

Looking to see what the others are doing before he does anything at the doorway and seeing Anuzal open the door at the other end of the stables the halfling sha'ir will quickly move to follow him moving along the stalls as quickly and quietly as he can in his rustling robes.

Anuzal peers through then opens the third door (southern most door on the map) and sees a hall that is luxuriantly decorated with elaborate mosaics of abstract patterns covering the walls and floor. The columns, made of white alabaster, rise to support the vaulted ceiling. Incongruous with this elegant setting, the hall contains only piles of provisions and household items.

Well, should we check the other door? the sha'ir asks quietly.

Jamal approaches the others and moves into the chamber. He looks at Emma thoughtfully before nodding. "Alara, be a dear and fly ahead, at ceiling height to be sure you are safe!" he says confidently.

The gens eye bug out. "Fly yourself out there and take a look, if you think it's so safe!" she replies sharply.

Jamal turns red and glares meaningfully at his gen, as if to convey the message he would really like her to do this without embarrassing him in front of his comrades. "What...? she asks eventually after a tense silence. "oh for heavens sake alright. But you promised me some invisibility!" the djinnling says pointedly, drifting forward into the room. "Well if you ever brought the spell back I would have," Jamal mutters under his breath as she begins to fly off. Alara stops and turns to face her "master" and scowls. "I heard that!" she growls. The halfling sha'ir waves that away dismissively and gestures for his gen to get on with it. Sighing LOUDLY Alara floats off to the ceiling and moves along the chamber, her long white hair wafting out behind her.

Abrex Myzeen LN Faris: AC 0 : HP 14 : Thac0 18

Abrex whispers, "You two are worse than a married couple. Jeez as he chuckles. Everyone keep an eye out for the ledger/book too." Abrex has sword drawn and is ready for action. He thinks then whispers, "This seems a bit easy so far. Let's hope the fates are kind to us should things change."

Dubb

After snapping out of his stupor, most likely induced by the smell of fresh stomped grapes, Dubb follows into room 6.

Looking around at the fine decorations, he whistles quietly. "This is some place. Seems running a shady business is quite profitable."

Dubb does a quick search of the provisions and household items. "I could use a good snack."
