Word on the streets: OOC pt 3

#1 Post by GreyWolfVT »

Alright so 20 pages of OOC2 creating new one. But as for the poison part I'm at a bit of a loss the MM indicates this is type F which is deadly and essentially if you fail the save you die the next round? If that is the case then Asad the Lion will most likely be dead...not exactly what i was going for but it'd be my first PC kill by DM/NPC. Slow poison may help but an antidote would be the real key here. I'm trying to recall and will have to look at the loot list but i thought potions were found at one point here.

Uh oh! :)

i have a potion of xtra healing in my pack but I don't know if that works. For example, if you die from poison and then are healed, do you have to save against poison again - and die again if you fail - as the poison is likely still in your veins? If you succeed on your save, is that it?

Thanks for the heal attempt by the way!

I think that whole part there could be a matter of interpretation on the revive part i think at least in this game if you die but are revived after a certain amount of time but not too long mind you that you would not have to roll a save again but if you do and pass i suppose you adapted to the poison in death? Slow poison could help but only temporarily and there are some civilized locations where you are going to be if you alter your path a bit. Or turn back to Talv i guess. Let me check the loot list and my "GM" character sheet.

Abrex has an elixir of health to use on him. I’ll check the item description as it may only take a third of the potion and we have to still fight more scorpions.

I kinda intervened with Rashad the NPC. But yes the elixir of health would work as well.

I love Benny Hill along with some other comedies of that similar type. Like Monty Python, & Carol Burrnet Show.

I loved Benny Hill as a kid. They don't make show like that anymore.

That was awesome!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
