Re: Word on the streets: Out of Character Chatter

Re: Word on the streets: Out of Character Chatter
I'm sorry to hear of your loss, Max.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it!
It wasn't unexpected or anything, my Uncle Harry was in his mid-to-late 80s…but he was a good guy, a tough Korean War vet. and he'll be missed.

A quick apology everyone. I have not been able to reliably get service the past few days after the tornadoes hit our area. Apparently, there were some major hub spots directly hit, and some cell towers too. Since I usually get on here when I can get to my phone, that severely limited me. We're all good here, just explaining my absence.

Re: Word on the streets: Out of Character Chatter
just so you are all aware taking the time to question the talking fish is not a good thing this is a time based situation and the longer it takes to decide what you do with the fish is a matter of if it lives or dies. Ask questions when you get it to the sea or let it die here and now and that will conclude the whole adventure for part 1.

Just looked this critter up and MAN am I glad we got on her good side. Yikes! Good to know we have a powerful friend though! I'll need to remember to bring her something shiny later on.GreyWolfVT wrote:Later it is revealed to the party that the crazy old lady (Kadiga) was actually a polymorphed adult silat. Though now she considers Emma, Dubb and Jamal her friends.

Re: Word on the streets: Out of Character Chatter
yeah here is what the module said and I quote
So props for figuring that out.Attacking Kadiga is paramount to suicide, for in all likelihood the silat will assume her normal form and tear the party to pieces. Instead, the party will have to take a more diplomatic role, trying to convince the silat to surrender her fish. The key to communicating with Kadiga is realizing that she speaks and understands only words spoken backward.

Excellent. So we most likely have all levelled. Jamal is now a second level sha'ir. Can we go ahead and update our sheets Grey?
If so he rolled for his HPs. [1d4] = 2
and will update his spell chances etc.

Well yep it is but he already has one of them as a first level magic-user, so he rolls a second d4 for his second level Hit dice.Bluehorse wrote:I thought it was a 2d4 for 2nd level magic users...?Storm11 wrote:Excellent. Yes everyone can update and add HP so forth don't forget THACO adjustments if you are in a class where it changes at level 2. Namely Fighters if memory servers me well.Storm11 wrote:Excellent. Brett that would be total for level 2 you only roll 1d4 each level to add to your already there HP number. Granted the hit die number is different for other classes.Bluehorse wrote:I thought it was a 2d4 for 2nd level magic users...?Storm11 wrote:Excellent. So we most likely have all levelled.
