#241 Post by Ullek »

Hello, to all this humble servant wishes you all a great day.... I hope to see you all this week, I have been reading all the log/chats to better understand what has been currently going on. That 1st session with the fish/merm. was really funny, and am currently halfway through the 2nd, I have to tell you, folks I don't talk too much during gameplay, but I will do my best to interact with the story's dynamics.

OOC/ currently am trying to make sense of the macro used to add rolls into the chat windows, I can use the dice roller page but can't figure how you folks incorporate it into the story/chats.

And again thanks for the welcome folks, its appreciated.......Ullek

Ullek, thanks for reading up on the prior two adventures obviously or unfortunately your "guy" wasn't in the group at those times but likely chances are they will tell you of their exploits now that you are one of the bearers at the funeral hall. Also I could send you a quick "short hand" summary of what has gone on so far if you'd like.

As for the macro and roller here is a screen shot I've circled what you copy and paste into the chat box. You'd copy what is in the yellow box and past that is your message on the forum you are making your post in Ullek.

To clear up the surprise roll part I added what the PHB says for 2e on surprise rolls into the House Rules part of the game. It's a 1d10 roll to clarify.

Quick question about the "battle" map did that work well for you guys?

Yes, it was really cool, brother gave a better perspective on who was where, and better visual of distance, and space.

Alright, I'll remember that going forward. I should have done that in the last adventure in the Complex.

It looks good but I think Abrex would be closer in melee.

Part of that could be that when I was typing my summary I jumbled some attacks to the incorrect players so if that is the case I can easily fix the map as well. I edited the map and moved Abrex right next to G3 to it's right.

I will be at Gamehole Con Thursday- Sunday so may not be able to post.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

OOC: Raven; I don't know if it will make you feel any better about a miss; but a Great Scimitar does 2d8 not 2d16.....they're bad-ass...but not THAT bad-ass! Probably why you have a 32 in the damage roll :)
