Re: Word on the streets: Out of Character Chatter
Max Vale is going to be departing the game his character will remain in Muluk once we finish the current adventure. I will not be looking to fill the player spot or ask anyone to take over we currently have a fairly good sized group. Though I am sad to see Max leave since I started this based on his interest and his selection of module however if he decides to come back to play I will be happy to have his character rejoin the group. We do still have 8 active players and 1 NPC with the group on an as needed basis. If someone from the waitlist does wish to join in I will not hesitate to let them in. Other than that I am not actively recruiting.

Welcome!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Re: Word on the streets: Out of Character Chatter
Just sharing why max said he was leaving most all his games.max_vale wrote:Hey amigo;
I'm so sorry for my lack of posting these past few weeks.....I'm not really sure why, but I am extremely burned out with most of my on-line gaming these days. I'm going to cut back big time and concentrate on running the Star Wars game and the Dragonlance game on the other site.
If you'd like to run Rakeem as an NPC, please feel free to do so.....I'll probably feel differently in a couple of months or so....on the other hand, if you'd rather he just 'left' the party or 'got taken prisoner' by an NPC in a future adventure or something, that could work too.
My apologies, you run a FANTASTIC game and I'm really, really grateful that you gave me a chance to run an 'mythic Arabic' type of character in the 'Al-Qadim' setting, which is something I always wanted to do. My being burned out has NOTHING to do with you or any other GM....I'm just....I don't know....BEAT... most of the time these days between work and my 7 year old....I just can't seem to muster the energy to game much anymore and I don't want to be a burden for anyone waiting on me....
I really hope you're doing well and that the holidays treated you and yours well. Thanks for running a great game and being a great player!

Hopefully he'll return to his other games in a couple of months.

Re: Word on the streets: Out of Character Chatter
Call me crazy if you wish to but I'd like to introduce Zeromancer to the game. I've added him initially as a wait list player however I've not heard much back from sirravd since I PM'd him back on the 1st hopefully all is well but we may end up with two new players which is about one player over my initial player size "limit" if you wish to call it that. However I'm happy to give Zeromancer a game to join. please welcome him aboard. He's got a character concept already planned out so I'll still be in control of Rashad unless sirravd ends up taking him over and making him his own. Rahkeem will still "take a break" from the group or potentially part ways depending on what max_vale ends up doing down the road.
Also just a heads up the next update will essentially be the summary/ending of Adventure 3 I know that was a little shorter than the last one but that was really a springboard into adventure 4.
