Bluetongue says 'Hello'

#1 Post by Bluetongue »

Took my 'moniker' Bluetongue, from a bandit lizard man rogue in an old D&D campaign that I spent my youthful years chasing around the map of Greyhawk courtesy of my equally roguish dad. A generation later Bluetongue lives again to torment a new generation of my family though we moved on from 'red box' 1st to 5th edition D&D, (skipping 4th because it was pants!).

I live in Leicester, G.B, voted 'Brexit' and enjoy a few beers of pale ale, dry cider and tex/mex food over the gaming table.

Any one looking for a new player I can post every other day.

Welcome to the Servant!
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

What do I like to play?

I prefer D&D but have played a few role playing fantasy games, LotR, etc. I am familiar with but not played through the Dragonlance saga, certainly read the books. Am a fan of the Acquisitions Inc, (a bit more so than the Critical Role) seem more like my types, bearded and baldies playing with dice and monsters as they wife says.

I see the forum has lots of old school earlier edition games going, Isle of Dredd, the Saltmarsh trilogy. Any spaces I would play a similar game?

Welcome Bluetongue!
Be well,
--Ron--
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.
