Well at the risk of sounding oh so very "PC" Happy Holidays!

Actually more accurately to our game theme.

sorry form slow posting, house and work taking time up, if needed you could NPC Szmodics at the Succubus if it carries the story along a bit so we don't fall behind the others too much. Cheers
Re: Parley...OOC chat and questions for player characters.
So I'm curious, what's next? Are we all linking back up as a crew or is it what is behind door #2?

Re: Parley...OOC chat and questions for player characters.
okay, will try to answer your question here. I hoped the three parties would have a few days as separate expeditions to give folk time to role play their characters and find a few extra items, different plot hooks and gain some experience and then after a couple of in game days, all return safely to the sloop. Nothing guaranteed of course and each team faced their own challenges.
The Ambergris Cay team did very well, in the end facing two very deadly but different encounters and came through very triumphantly.
The Djebel Tarik group also survived a tough battle and savage bayonet charge and the group had a frustrating time in an enchanted cave. I think prudence and wisdom winning the day over extending themselves to explore the deeper reaches of a cave whose secrets continue to lie hidden. The team have another night at the camp and a chance to gain some extra knowledge and possibly make a life changing decision.
The Cockburn Harbour team. I think this has been the most difficult expedition to game in as the frame in which to play in was less limited. So much easier when the other teams have static encounters to plan for, (go to a boat and find/fight this, go to a cave and find/kill that). I think within that the harbour there is much to find and discover though that is more down to the party asking the right questions and meeting the right people and I don't like to funnel folk down any avenue. I understand characters may feel frustrated that 'nothing is happening' or the party is just drifting along, more as well because even as a group the party did things as individuals and so it becomes less of a party thing. (hope that makes sense). My apologises to the team there if it has felt dragging that was not my intention though for several days I was unable to post directly into that forum, perhaps the descriptions of life in the bordello being too risqué for the forum admin, not sure. Apologises if certain words or phrases offend. The team have still found much valuable information though the value of that may not be as known at this time.
I will conclude all three expeditions over the next week or so if folk can post regularly and we can return to the rescue mission to Monte Verde mission. The Cay team, with folk engaged in several other forum games gives them a breather anyway, so it just offers the other groups a few days to complete and return unharmed (or not as the case may be... )
Hope that brings folks up to date?

Thumbs up for me I see more opportunity for Rexlin to get into trouble either way.

Works for me... is that gain knowledge/decision thing in game, or just theoretically? I dont see the posts bringing that piece in... seemed we were at a waiting spot...

Welcome to the game UrsonSpearmint wrote:and so the expeditions in the Turks and Caicos over (for now...), the sloop steadies her course and heads out into the cold Atlantic once more to navigate towards the mission station of Monte Verde. Actions everyone please and if folk haven't read. I also invited Urson to join in the campaign to run several 'cameo' roles that may crop up as NPC players (or even future characters), so please welcome him to the game in the OOC forum.

Re: Parley...OOC chat and questions for player characters.
just what did you do with Baby Amber?
you hired a wet nurse to feed the babe and come to the sloop, she was gyspy herself (notes from exploration) but nothing was decided about her future. Any thoughts or did you just abandon her?

I thought she could stay on board and become the ships mascot of sorts. A good luck charm if you will.
She could stay in the mages room?
