Also, I don't think an Unseen Servant can scout ahead. Even if it could detect dangers, how would it convey that message? I don't think they can talk or have any telepathic ability. I could be wrong though. :D
The "she creature" part is what made hum think so, he wasn't really certain though :D

Ya, I missed that bit completely. Nicely done!

It was pretty obvious there was an issue on this island, but I wasn't expecting this to be a monster rescue. :D

The curtain to the first room is thrown back, the room looks and sounds empty.
Well, we cant leave that unchecked......can we?

Sig will carry the woman fireman style to the hallway that leads up and out if the two of you want to go take a look in the elite warriors room?

If not, maybe we should all get out while we still can?

I think she was hobbled, not actually connected to something.

Meanwhile, someone in the main cave got a good shot of our trio leaving the scene...

Who you gonna call?
Werewolf Busters!

I thought that the sister was freed from being tied to the wall, but still had shackles on her feet and couldn't walk well.

no I wrote in the narration she was shackled by the chain between her feet and could make short shuffle steps and her hands were tied by a thick hemp rope which looped through an iron ring in the cave wall.

So, can we assume that there is no other outside "way out" from this area where the chiefs wives huts are?

The wooden stockade is made from thick trunks stripped of bark and sharpened to a point at the top. It looks rather like a row of short fat pencils standing upright. The height is about 15'ft which suffices to keep the steep hillside from slipping loose rocks or tree fall into the chiefs secluded area. The open side faces the village, about 60'ft+ above. The sheer sided drop is a shingle loose gravelly rock mixed with creeper vines and clumps of overhanging shrubbery. You might not have confidence to put you weight on any of those to climb down. Below and a few feet out is a small orchard of wild Carob pines. The trees are in fully blossom and well spread if you want to take a Leap of Faith?

Pachucapatl is incensed that the men dared to leave and in a fit of rage, sends his warriors over the edge to chase them. The snake men do not hesitate and unwaveringly launch themselves off the edge to follow the pair into the void, hoping to land on the mattress stuffing of the Carob orchard. They make it as far as the sister and crash with splats and painful cries, landing in a tangle of arms, spears and serpent tails.

Woo Hoo!!!

More XP for us!!!

2 golden candelabras, two necklaces(one made of pearls, another of gemstones), Naga statue, peacock feathered head-dress and hair braids. Please decide who gets a share of what between four of you, VdP included.

Anyone care if Rexlin keeps the necklaces? I say we give VdP the head dress. Make im purdy

I think we need to get it to the ship and leave it be for one day.

After one day passes, Sig can cast a Detect Magic on all of the items to see if any are extra special.

It is difficult to split the treasure equally when we don't have a monetary amount on any of the items. Perhaps we can find a spot to get things evaluated before we decide who gets what?

These are my thoughts, not Sig's. If we don't want to do that, he would be happy with the naga statue, hoping that it is a magical trinket. (I don't remember if that was checked for magic back in the village or not)

no, you have not used detect magic since the first time in the communal hut (detecting Sister Adelaide's Chant spell in the psalm book and the potion of giant strength in the mollusc shell). If you were in a hurry you could ask other spell users on board, Mr Perryman for example. You might get a relative evaluation on board with some non-expert give or take but do you wish to show such finery to a bunch of thieving pirates?

Hell NO!!!

I will assume that wherever we are headed next will give us enough time for spell casting and closed door evaluation discussions.
