Yikes that does not sound fun in anyway. I don't think I want to know how you drain a lung. As Rob said at least you are on the mend. Get well Spearmint. :)

having asthma as a kid I know what breathing difficulties can be like. Hope stuff works out and life picks up and you can make the Easter games convention again.

A message from Spearmint.

Hi folks, my apologises. I may not be able to post much due to an knowing serious health issue. I have some sepsis type virus jn my lungs and am surviving in and out of more critical care with lots of antibiotics. So I am going to withdraw my gaming time for a short while as I recover.

Thank you for your patience and personal messages.

Kris

Kris,

Do what you need to do to take care of yourself. That is far more important than some pbp gaming. We will all survive. You need to take care of your health first brother. Get well Kris. We shall see you when you are able to return. :)

No, I did ask about resurrecting the game so I am very happy to see it on the board today. I will take a bit of time before starting again though as I first would like to contact all the previous players to see if they are interested in continuing with their characters and then maybe retire a couple as NPC's and open the game up to any others who wish to join.

I will write a probably long 'story so far' and include some bits and bobs about what each character has done or discovered. It is planned as an open world so though technically you are all on a pirate sloop with Captain Lazarus plenty of the unexpected and unplanned will inevitably happen to you all!!!

Certainly expect me to begin within a couple of weeks, probably starting with a mild (!) excursion to the 'Guineaman' ghost ship which is secured on the Freeport's jetty and watched over by the town guards from behind the sandbagged cannon works.

Yes, welcome back.
As I mentioned in my pm, I will have to step back for a time being. Hopefully, if the adventure stays in town, my pc can stay ready to join back in if opportunities arise in a few weeks or so.

I'm working on "Stubble", a Dwarf cannoneer. He has one good stat and Int seems the best place for a cannoneer, but I'm not sure of the rules on that.
