Okay; the first post is up…..hopefully by reading it and the Character overviews on the PC thread, you all can get an idea of why you're here and what you're motivations are. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask in this thread/PM me; I'm happy to help however I can. I'll be putting up more background info (how exactly the world got to the state it's in now, etc.) and some rules info for combat options, etc.; but by all means; go ahead and start posting!

Are you guys getting my Group PMs? I just wanted to make sure I didn't set it up wrong somehow and I'm only mailing myself. :)

Okay; I just added a little timeline in the 'Background info' thread that sums up the past few years and 'how we got to this point' on the world stage.

As another quick bit of info; every character in Saul's apartment right now is carrying a pistol and their pistol ammo; but the rest of the equipment is in the various cars; i.e. Billy's Rifle and camping gear is in his truck; Lisa's handcuffs and Jenny's Medkit are in Lisa's Ford Escort; Deacon's Shotgun, Nightstick, etc. and Raffy's Duffel bag with Mac-10 and Automotive toolkits are in Hays' car. Saul's stuff is already packed in his Duffel bag.

Post away and feel free to ask me anything here in this thread or in PM.

Also not sure if it was supposed to be directed at me, but Lisa wouldn't know jack about finding medical supplies, but our resident nurse might

Okay, I'm going to try the PM again in a minute, but I just put up a new post so post away when ready. I'll be adding a post to the Mechanics thread about combat mechanics and options at some point today as well.

To answer some questions: No, the Oakland Army Base is not going towards mountains but rather towards the water (San Fransisco Bay). The mountains are the opposite direction.....the city of San Fransisco to the West; across the Bay Bridge.

As for Medical supplies; Jenny already has a fair bit and yes, the Army base would have some more.....Jenny would also know that hospitals are a PRIME place for crazed people looking for drugs; lots of people injured in looting/rioting/accidents/etc. right now and also a definite sight for cops and/or National Guard members to be protecting. So, keep that in mind.

If you put maps and images in a spoiler tag, they can be put into posts without distorting the rest of the thread.
Sometimes this summer I will most likely be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Okay, so Nuke asked: 'Can we get a map, or at least who is behind which cars?'

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to technology, but I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow as I'm home from work, but the short answer is….

Imagine two cars parked perpendicular to the bridge in the middle of the lanes (i.e. the short 'cross piece' in a lower case letter t) and the bus more or less straight in front of it about 20 yards away (aiming towards the middle of the two cars, if that makes sense)….

Behind the left parked car is crouching Billy and then Jenny; with Raffy in the middle space where the back of the left car and the front of the right car are; then finally Deacon behind the right most car (as was Lisa until her 'Rambo-esque' final moments)

That help?

Hey guys!

So I am sorry I've been gone, but I lost interest in this website. It isn't the fault of any of you, but I had it for people randomly leaving, especially GMs for games and I got sick of it (and I say that as someone who left with no word). I kept my RPing to a different site and sort of forgot about this site.

I leave my character in your hands, but I think I am done with this site. I had fun while it lasted, but it's time to move on.

Hope you all have a great time

Sorry to hear that, I have found that this site is one of the better locations on the web for PbP gaming. Good luck!

Yes, the ladder Saul went down (and is coming back up on) is indeed behind the Bus….next round I'll post what he sees from his vantage point (this coming round he is climbing up the ladder).
