What Joe Manganiello's Possible Dragonlance Movie Might Contain
"It’s recently come to light that actor Joe Manganiello has been coauthoring a script for a Dungeons & Dragons movie. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he said that he’d even met with Wizards of the Coast to talk about the project. This was at first confusing news, since it’s known that a D&D film is already in the works after a prolonged legal battle pertaining to the game’s film rights.
However Manganiello soon tweeted out a picture of a script draft, indicating that the prospective movie would be an adaption of Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman’s beloved Dragon’s of Autumn Twilight."

New Dragonlance Movie?
Re: New Dragonlance Movie?
Oh wow! Absolutely love all the Dragonlance stuff, and the entire world of Krynn setting too! (Even the Kinder race! )
Read all many of the DL books bitd, well at least a goodly amount of them, as iirc there are scores of offshoot prequels and such series that spun out of the original trilogy. Hickman & Wies were a great team to be sure. I've always found their combined prose to be amicable and the reads good. Their main characters were always endearing to me and their adventures exciting to be sure!
Now if they (Hollywood) could just make an even mediocre D&D movie...

Well, umm yeaahhhh.... that's a big negatory there, Dave! Lol
But do love the screen shot, brother! The bald bloke with blue lipstick and the "I just ate your last cookie" smirk is bad enough but the other guy??
Looks like Jeremy Irons... on a bottle of whiskey and bag of mushrooms!
You know, to be honest, I'd have given away me lunch to game with folks like that when I was in high school...

So good they had to use the same bad guy from the first movie minus his lipstick

Between movies he must have figured out how to work the thermostat in his lair!
