That needs to be said, shouted, in game.
The only sound those of us in the back have heard is the sound of something come down the corridor.
A shout for help, or something like that, might spur those closer to help retrieve those still alive.
Winter is coming...

Save vs Strength: [1d20] = 20      :(
There's an ache in the arse if I ever saw one. I blew 2 18's back to back, but 20's are few and far between, and rarely work against us.

Yeah. If those had been saving throw rolls, you'd have been fine. ;)

It isn't.
But Garrin feels Zahra tug the rope, giving the signal. (Over to you, Socratic!)

Sorry for the delay, got super busy with RL stuff!
Thanks, Socratic. No problem.
Everyone in the hallway: If you choose to, you may post IC again, to respond to Garrin's call for help, before I move the action along with my next DM post.

I won't lie. Losing a character usually sucks. But it always feels better when you see other players writing nice things about them after their gone. :D

No, thanks. As per the house rules, the only time you don't roll dice is when PC knowledge of success is not guaranteed (hide in shadows, search for secret doors, search for traps, etc). Those will be handled secretly by the DM.

Welcome!

What I want to post every time we meet a new PC:
OGRE MAGE wrote:The mask wearing, pale skinned man takes one step closer to the group, keeping an eye on the huge barbarians axe.

"Art though the adventurers seeking to put an end to Zargoth's reign?"
Arthfael sees that the name hovering over the newcomer's head is in bold black letters, not the lighter grey used for NPCs. "Welcome, friend," he greets the new member of the party.

Oh, dear. I think I like my approach better.

(Seriously, though. If we could avoid PvP conflict right off the bat, that'd be swell. :D I know that requires ignoring some faction animosities, but I for one would find the play experience much more pleasant if we do.)

Ouch. I didn't know it was a PvP. I can edit it, if our illustrious DM approves.
