I got a good chuckle from that one as well.

Hey guys,
I'll be traveling this holiday weekend and may be unable to get online. Back on Thursday, 7/6.
See you then.

It does, thanks.SocraticLawyer wrote:Assuming Garrin can reach the armored baboon without provoking an opportunity attack from B18 or B14, and without messing up his companions' actions, Garrin rushes forward to attack the armored baboon:
To Hit with +1 Long Sword: [1d20+1] = 12+1 = 13; Damage: sm - [1d8+1] = 6+1 = 7; lg - [1d12+1] = 1+1 = 2
If he can reach B18, but not B19, without first provoking an attack from B14, he attacks B18.
If Garrin cannot reach B18 or B19, then instead Garrin turns around to attack the baboon behind him (B14)
I hope that makes sense!
Fyi, in a melee, combatants can move 1" and still attack with a melee weapon or bare hands. Beyond 1" requires a "charge," which I'll factor in if that action choice gets enacted. Thanks.

Re: Shadow and Illusion (ooc and questions ll)
FYI, I'll be out of town this week, with limited internet access. Please NPC Garrin if I don't respond. I'll be back on 7/9.
How do we know you're not a donkey-brained man?

Hey gang,
I'm back. Hope everyone had a great 4th.
I'll move things along tonight or tomorrow morning. Hopefully Attila, Amethu and Loche can squeak some posts in under the wire!

Re: Shadow and Illusion (ooc and questions ll)
Sorry I've been away for so long. My father passed away this morning, so if possible, could the DM NPC Locke for about another week and a half? I need to sit shiva.
PC History:

Loche - Level Three Pict Thief, The Lost City of the Pharaohs (1e)

Where does Zahra fall in the marching order?
I'm temporarily NPCing Loche and Attila and I recall that they weren't exactly thrilled about being in the front row.

Re: Shadow and Illusion (ooc and questions ll)
Arthfael prefers somewhere in the middle.
Re: Shadow and Illusion (ooc and questions ll)
For Zahra's part, she'd prefer to be in the front; if Gronda directs her to be somewhere else, she'll acquiesce.

Garrin can be up front. Although he needs to get better armor one of these days!
