Re: Shadow and Illusion (ooc and questions ll)
That needs to be said, shouted, in game.
The only sound those of us in the back have heard is the sound of something come down the corridor.
A shout for help, or something like that, might spur those closer to help retrieve those still alive.

There's an ache in the arse if I ever saw one. I blew 2 18's back to back, but 20's are few and far between, and rarely work against us.Save vs Strength: [1d20] = 20
Re: Shadow and Illusion (ooc and questions ll)
Yeah. If those had been saving throw rolls, you'd have been fine.

It isn't.ChubbyPixie wrote:Kiri grips her ankle tightly and yells as loud as he can. "PULL US OUT!!" He wonders if it's even possible for the others to hear over the dull, endless roar.
But Garrin feels Zahra tug the rope, giving the signal. (Over to you, Socratic!)

Thanks, Socratic. No problem.SocraticLawyer wrote:Garrin feels the tug and starts pulling. He quickly realizes that he needs help.
"Help me reel them back in!" he shouts back at his companions.
Sorry for the delay, got super busy with RL stuff!
Everyone in the hallway: If you choose to, you may post IC again, to respond to Garrin's call for help, before I move the action along with my next DM post.

I won't lie. Losing a character usually sucks. But it always feels better when you see other players writing nice things about them after their gone.

No, thanks. As per the house rules, the only time you don't roll dice is when PC knowledge of success is not guaranteed (hide in shadows, search for secret doors, search for traps, etc). Those will be handled secretly by the DM.wordoftheoracle wrote:Loche

Oh, dear. I think I like my approach better.sirravd wrote:Amethu's face contracts with hatred. Suddenly he strides forth until the hawk-masked man is in range: then he begins chanting the words of a charm person.
(Seriously, though. If we could avoid PvP conflict right off the bat, that'd be swell. I know that requires ignoring some faction animosities, but I for one would find the play experience much more pleasant if we do.)
Re: Shadow and Illusion (ooc and questions ll)
Ouch. I didn't know it was a PvP. I can edit it, if our illustrious DM approves.
