Gronda gives Dendara a curious look after hearing her words. She tries not to draw attention to her most recent discovery.
"As glorious as that may sound, I have more questions before I decide. You said that you are not enough yet? Tell me sister, how is it that you can reproduce to make future warriors when you claim to detest men so much. Surely you need at least one thing from them, no?"
Chapter 5: Amazons of the Apocalypse

"Yes. Like all living creatures, we do what we must to survive," says Dendara. "Fortunately for us, the only thing we need of Men is the one thing they all give so freely.
"Join us, Gronda. Be a slave to Men no longer."

Gronda
"Do you never tire of being trapped in here? Do you not long to once again see the outside world?"
She moves one hand over her sweaty body seductively as she finishes dressing.
"As tempting as your offer is, I am afraid that I would rather die trying to find my way out than to stay here, wishing that I did. It is not in my nature to not try. If there is nothing that you are willing to do to help, then so be it. Though, it would be nice to know some information about the last time your people ventured lower into this place. Wont you tell me what you know of the path I have ahead of me or anything about the tomb of Xuthalhotep?"

Realm of the Warrior Maidens of Sekhmet. Third Tier of the Great Pyramid
Lost City of Khemsa, Forgotten Kingdom of Verulia, Great Eastern Desert, the World of Hyboria
Day Two. Early afternoon. 14th day of the month of Yuluk, 1279th year of the Age of Aquilonia
Ancient goddesses and queens can only watch as the women fall to arguing.
Gronda says, "Do you never tire of being trapped in here? Do you not long to once again see the outside world?"
"The desert is impassable. Barring a sandstorm, and the luck of the devil," replies Dendara.
Gronda says, "As tempting as your offer is, I am afraid that I would rather die trying to find my way out than to stay here, wishing that I did."
Dendara snarls coldly, "Very well. So be it. Sisters! Come!"
Gronda asks, "Won't you tell me what you know of the path I have ahead of me or anything about the tomb of Xuthalhotep?"
Dendara snaps, "I've told you. That way lies death. You need an army, not a pack of barbarians."
Lioness helmed warriors enter the chamber.
Dendara commands of them, "Put her outside. She has chosen banishment."
"Farewell Gronda, slave of Men."

Re: Chapter 5: Amazons of the Apocalypse
Gronda tries anger this time.
"Banishment? From what? You stay hidden in here as if it is some great escape, but you will do nothing to aid those who come here to try to help your cause? You are no better than the men above that you claim to despise, yet you still use them to further your needs? That's sounds like hypocrisy to me."
The savage walks over near to the unopened southern door as she is escorted back out.
"Tell me, where does this door lead? The man torturing room?"
She turns to give Dendara one more piece of her mind.
"Does seducing strangers make you a better person than the men you hate so much? At least the men in this place were willing to lend us aid and information. You have done nothing but use me. That's all right though, as a slave to men, I am pretty used to that kind of treatment."

Day Two. Early afternoon. 14th day of the month of Yuluk, 1279th year of the Age of Aquilonia
"Take her away," Dendara snarls as she waves a dismissive white hand.
The golden amazon guards comply. Gronda yells angrily over her shoulder as she is escorted out. Dendara does not bother to reply.
The glimmering lionesses take her back the way they came, beneath ancient carvings of the goddesses and queens of Verulia of old.
The large stone door is unbarred and she is put through it, at spear point.
Then the monolithic slab portal slams shut with the finality of the grave.
Gronda stands alone in the darkness outside the realm of the warrior-maidens of Sekhmet.
She sees torchlight and hears men's voices through the revolving corridor to the west; the voices of her companions.
The adventure continues in Chapter 7: In Search of the Pharaoh's Tomb
