In particular she is hoping to find something sensible for the newly found black gem.
She also describes a small jewerly box she was thinking of, and if they might be able to fashion one up out of simple metal. If not, she will go to the smith.

Halfpint asks about setting the black gem. "I can set that black gem of yours for 10gp in either gold, electrum, or silver setting with a simple chain to allow it to be a pendant," he says. "If you'd like it to be fancier, tell me your ideas and I'll price my labor."

Halfpint describes a small box suitable for holding a single gemstone. "Simple fine work of tin or brass, it sounds. Better me than the smithy, given the fine detail, unless you want it of their sturdier iron. I'll make it for you for 20gp."

Winnie requests a tiger's eye be set into a staff, then covered so it is hidden. "Strange, that," the jeweler opines. "Why set a stone, then encase it? Do you intend it to be sometimes revealed or hidden as a secret? If you just want it encased and hidden, I'll set it for 10gp. To have it revealable, that'll be 20gp. If you want it an artful secret, then that's 50gp."

Lord Commander Bremen visits the local carpenters and hires them to excavate and build an 8'x12' structure, divided into six 4'x4' outhouses. It needs to be good and functional - sturdy, if you will. But it shouldn't be pretty, if you get my meaning. So it lasts a long time, I want a large pit under it - the size of a basement. And each stall gets it's own slide-latched door.
