Ok... I think non magical tally is (after talon sale) :
Florian 700 and 1500 pieces and 209 gp
Irving 700 and 1300 pieces and 409 gp
Bandy 500 and 800 pieces, 750 gem and 359 gp
Bremen 600* , 900, 10 pieces, 50,75,100 gems and 674 gp *given to extract the necklace
Markd 800 and 400 pieces, 1000 gem, 209 gp

Markd heads straight to the chapel once they see Gaul and announces his intention to speak to Bishop Keelan.

The evening before they prepare to leave, a very weakened Bremen suggests the party take time to wash up and look their best while returning to town. Even if Markd insists on a lack of fanfare, it won't do to meet with his Holiness looking like we do. He heads to the ford and scrubs himself, shaves his face and grooms his mustache. He also asks Brother Florian if he wouldn't mind another curative prayer after the necklace.

Brother, I plan to head back out there, as you know. I want to restore that Tower and bring Baudh's Law back to the region. I could do with a cleric as handy as you, for clearing out the ghouls and, centions, kobolds and anything else that might be lurking in the depths. What do you say? Are you up for another mission for Baudh?

Are the rest of you planning to head back out to gather up our cumulative treasure? Lord Commander Bremen won't be too, too much of a jerk.
:P

Marullus I don't have the rulebook handy. Is it a 2d6 roll with a CHA bonus?
I also need to roll for Guaire. I am pretty sure that is 2d6:

Retainer for Guaire [2d6] = 11
I didn't include any CHA bonus, but I'm pretty sure that that is bad. Like he wasn't fond of Bremen calling him a coward when under a spell, or letting his friend die... :?

Markd is at the mercy of his convictions... Once he his chat with the bishop, he'll know what he is to do... whether that is clearing that tower or going door to door in Deadtown, spreading the word, or killing all the nonbelievers...

OOC:
Thanks for taking care of the treasure tally, onlyme.

Bandy could be convinced to go back to the tower to finish clearing it out.

Maurullus, if possible, I'd like to change what Bandy uses to pay for the curse removal. Instead of the adamantine bracelet and 100gp, he'll use the pearl and also have Piedmont ID the wand and the statuette.

At Pierpont's Tower...
Bandy offers Pierpont a pristine white pearl (750 GP) and the wizard performs the mystical rites needed to detach Bandy from the cat-headed dagger. The hobbit is relieved to find he can draw his sword intentionally once more. The dagger is wrapped in a piece of leather and put in a small sack before being returned to Bandy.

Pierpont accepts the research commissions as well:
- Two weeks research commission for Bremen on "a long bronze chime with a leather cord to suspend it" (11-18 June, 02 July-09 July)
- Three weeks research commission for Bandy Sandybanks on "a small bronze statuette of an imperious griffin" and "short obsidian wand with an adamantine handle affixed to the end." (09 July-30 July)

Pierpont has no interest in the hippogriff meat.

Back at the Guard Tower...
Returning to the bunkhouse attached to the Frogmorton Ford Guard Tower, the group gets a good night's rest. In the morning, Florian offers further healing to Bremen, restoring him to full health and getting the last of the discoloration from the burst blood vessels out of his face.

Florian is pleased with having proved himself as Irving's retainer and with the wealth of knowledge he now possesses in the form of his scrolls. Guaire, however, is harrowed by his experience and in grief for his friend Neachdainn. He does not desire to adventure with this group any further.

Bremen approaches Florian and requests he sign-on to be a priest for the new White Tower and reconstituted Knights of Baudhil. Florian is discomfited by the his experiences and politely declines the request from Bremen.
Recruit Florian [2d6] = 8
Recruit Florian [2d6] = 11

Date: 12 June 2021

When morning arrives, Bremen recommends they all clean up from their venture to be more presentable. Irving joins him in the washing, grooming, and preening to make sure they have the best presentation possible.

The group loads up the golden sun sigil upon the back of the pony and heads up the road towards Gaul. It is only a half-day's journey and it is just about lunch time when you arrive at the gates. It seems that word has preceded you and a curious crowd has gathered in the streets to observe and comment on your passing. The crowd presses in, asking to touch the Sun of Baudh which was rescued for the holy church as you pass by them. Markd excuses himself furtively and disappears into the crowd rather than remain with the group. Irving smiles winningly, his hair coiffed and armor resplendent, taking the front with Bremen since Markd has departed.

It takes a little longer to make it through the admiring crowd before the group arrives at the Chapel of Baudh. The crowd murmurs outside at the resplendent artifact poised on the pony, parting as they reach the church doors and pass within. A number of them filter into the church pews to continue to observe. The group detaches the Sun Sigil and carries it together into the church.

They see Archbishop Keelan at the front near the altar, the cowled figure of Markd in furtive conversation with him. As the group enters, the Archbishop steps away and stands at the center of the aisle. He openly scowls at Bremen. His voice projects through the room, stopping the quartet about halfway down the isle where several acolytes help you set down and prop up the sun sigil. "The recovery of this Sigil for the honor and glory of Baudh is worthy of renown! You were sent forth on a holy mission and this return shall serve to aid and protect this city from Evils which the wisdom of Baudh has seen in portent. The Chapel of Baudh and indeed the ArchDuke himself are honored by your leal service," he intones to the crowd. "The doors of this chapel shall be ever open to you." He turns his attention back to exclusively focus on Bremen. "Except, in this case, Master Bremen. You stand accused of knowingly treating with the infernal and compromising your immortal soul. Guards, take him into custody to stand trial that evidence may be presented against him and justice determined."

There is a collective gasp and murmur from the gathered crowd. Four guards step forward tentatively towards Bremen.

??? Those weeks are a little off. For one thing, they're showing 8 days.
Bremen's research of two weeks: 6/11-6/17 and... 7/2-7/8?
Bandy's research of three weeks: 7/9-7/15, 7/16-7/22, 7/23-7/29

What about the weeks of 6/18-6/24 and 6/25-7/1? Can Bandy get his items started during those two weeks? :D

Nope. He already executed a commission for Rhybek during those two weeks. :) The running time log is on Pierpont's Tower thread. These dates are accurate to keep game timelines.
