With Fingers's return trip to the kobold tower going nowhere, I'm going to put Fingers (and Olaf) on the bench for now.

If I bench Earc for a bit to do some research, I might could come up with someone to deal with kobolds...

Actually, they are already in the works. Dwarf. Cheery but very much about dwarven honor and such.

If folks want to sign up to go back to the tower, Fingers would still be happy to go. If they have other things to do, there's no need to change plans—I'll just take the opportunity to scale back my activity for a while, which I really ought to do anyway.

Clay is absolutely interested but he really feels the Goblin King is something he is called to deal with. The undead nature of the King's army creates a real imbalance in the region.

Oh. And he had a lot to do with it happening!

If fingers is around after that adventure, Clay is in. Especially if there is still consensus that we will try and head into the next quadrant past that one.

What is in this kobold tower and what lies beyond?

Will approach 'the Undecided' regarding forming a posse to finally clear out the goblin hole and investigate the demonic influences.

He will go with a minimum group of four

Rhybek is interested in kobolds in the tower. Mostly because kobolds don't make towers so that means its older and maybe there is something to learn historically from it. Rhybek is interested in finding evidence and information about the dwarves who settled here before.

Silent would go with Fingers to the tower. Not sure where Silent went off to recently, but he would probably surface about when it was time to go.

Per the Rules of Operation:

5 - You may play any number of PCs in this campaign, with two caveats: first, you can never play more than one character in a given expedition, and second you must complete at least one expedition with each of your existing characters (successfully or unsuccessfully) before you can add a new one.

What I meant was, can I have a third PC active? There had been some discussion of limiting us to 2 active PCs at any given time to keep the sandbox from growing out of control.

I technically have three PCs (although one is still on deck), so I don't think that suggestion was ever implemented.

The rules are pretty clear on the subject. See my post immediately above Rusty's last one.

So Zhym couldn't make another one until he takes his third one out on an adventure (failed or successful...).

But I do recall the discussion. I have three at this point, but that's mostly because Earc is going to be "shelved" at times during periods of study. I don't plan on having more than two actually active in adventures at any given time, mostly because I have a hard enough time keeping track of one!
