Fallen Heroes

#1 Post by Marullus »

Sometimes you fall--but it's how you stand that matters.

Players may post their eulogies here once word reaches town that a PC is confirmed dead.

Brother Kellstrom

Impetuous zealot who acted first and prayed later. Killed in action trying to discover the Sun relic of Baudh from ancient ruins. He provoked the wrath of a stone guardian who clawed him savagely and bleed to death in the arms of Captain Bremen who mercifully eased his passing attempting triage on the battlefield.

Buried in an unmarked cairn, east of the River Gaul.

Carchannoi the Elf
Dorath the Wizard
Gaeron the Elf
Tyrrell, a Provost of Baudh

These four set out on an Expedition: following Carchannoi to the Goblin chieftainess' dungeon, departing on May 24th and never returning. They are presumed dead.

C'ang DerrThorn, Dwarf Warrior
Rescued from goblin captivity by Foxy's expedition into the Goblin Hold, C'ang met his demise by charging into the mouth of Scatha the dragon on June 6th, buying his companions precious time with which they could escape.

Rhybek Baerdrum, Dwarven Delver
As dwarves are born from earth and stone, back to stone he returned... pecked by a petrifying chicken while stealing the golden eggs.

Brother Issachar

There is a season for everything. A time to be born, a time to die.

An acolyte of Gwanwen, sworn to service in the Fellowship of Reapers. He met a grim and untimely end, vainly trying to subdue a feral dragon whilst on the Orc Envoy and Trade mission with Amistad and Sir Piers. Last seen dangling from a chain around the dragon's neck before plummeting to earth and being torn limb from limb.

Sten Danilmaga

A quiet and devout cleric of Baudh, he adventured north over the mountains with his brother. Pledging allegiance to a severe sect within the church, he went to meet his Maker and account for his life, short spent and sadly bleeding out from a critical wound to the neck. A severed artery from an Axe-beaks peck. His last act was to invoke divine blessing and cast a Light spell, which he duly entered to receive Baudh's mercies and embrace. His body not recovered and subsequently torn apart by the squawking flock to feast upon and regurgitate later into fledgling chicks.
