I thought so, just making sure.
When the dragon finally departs, Halfpint reappears from the tall grasses and urges Baxtaw to haste. They find that Foxy follows amiably but her vacant smile indicates she will be of little use for other purposes. The trio presses on through the pouring rain until the dull overcast sunlight fades to the long, unending twilight of the summer. They decide to rest and hole-up when they find a sheltered overhang to give them some respite.
They rise the following day and resolve to make the best time they can. (forced march x1.5) You've only been under way about an hour when you see the scarlet form of the dragon circling lazily ahead, inspecting your progress. He must be satisfied with your hurried new pace as he flies off again, honoring his word.
The hills flatten out to plains and soon the flowing farmlands of Gaul are once again before you. You make it to the southern gates of Gaul in mid-afternoon, all three of you still seriously wounded and grateful for the promise of dry roofs and no dragons (for now).
You can switch to the town threads (the Wooden Keep specifically, I imagine) for how you break the Dragon's News to the ArchDuke, unless you go to talk to others first. You also will need to post what you're doing with Foxy, and then how you're each passing the time in town. I'll switch to Clay and Grizzly for their journey home in this thread, now.

The badger, the hound, the owl, the bear, and the wild woman hunker down for the night in their concealed burrow shelters, ensuring that the dragon is long departed before they rise to take on another day's slog through the muddy hills with their travois. The day dawns foggy and chill. Clay prays for Beith's blessings and it is time for them to chart their course. They expect several days ahead at their current pace to any habitable location.

Clay sends Maurice out daily, and seeks out burrowing mammals and birds to seek information about the dragon: if it has been seen again, where it seems to be going, etc. To the Grizzly Woman, he suggests, We should wait here in this burrow until we are pretty sure Scatha has gone to ground again. We have food enough for now. If she disagrees, he suggests they bury the treasure in their burrow then head to the Farrows to rent a pack animal. I've got something to do up north that I'd like to get to, but it's waited eons already. It can wait another week, if need be. He offers healing to Ms. Grizzly, and then her grizzly, saving his other spells (entangle x1 and hold person x1) as deterrents to any would-be aggressors.

Foxy's current state is as follows. She is unable to speak, cast spells, understand language, or communicate coherently. She can recognise the tavern sign however and points to it indicating 'food and drink' and clap along to the rhythmic call of the church bells in town. If left in her current state she will do what every absent lost minded lady does... and go shopping in the market, wandering from stall to stall for endless hours and then return to the first place she went to and buy some old useless trinket or two.

Clay's divine ministrations leave both Grizzly and her bear feeling fully restored to face the trials ahead. He suggests hiding out longer and then going without the travois to the Farrow Farm (about 18 miles) and returning with pack animals (18 miles), before heading back with their aid (24 miles).

With two CLW spells gone, but the party hale, Clay chooses to stay in the burrow one more day, allowing Maurice to hunt voles and seek information about the dragon's activities as he will. Clay worries about the other three, but their fate was sealed when they walked off.

The group stays in their hastily-excavated burrow, spending a day at rest. The rains continue off and on but you find you stay fairly warm and dry within. The sun sets and dusk passes swiftly to the eternal twilight which you find ongoing this month. You are preparing to settle down to sleep in the darkness, your tiny fire banked to coals, when you are disrupted by a shuffling and rummaging outside.
Clay pads forward and peers out of the burrow mouth and sees five wild boar tramping and digging through your excavated earth with their tusks, attracted by some smell. At first dubious towards your hole, they become indifferent as Clay reveals himself, ignoring you as they go about their work.

The boars remain uninterested in the overly-friendly badger and in accompanying you tomorrow. They are intent on getting the mushroom bits from your excavated soil, then just as fine departing.
You can't recruit them to your party unless they are Friendly disposition first. They moved from Dubious to Indifferent due to Beith's influence, but are not Friendly.

As is his custom, Clay rises and begins the day with a bath. But it is not until he is licking his inner thigh that he realizes what he is doing. He looks up sheepishly, glad his radiant blush is hidden by fur. He tries to regain his composure by meditating and praying, though it is difficult to shake the feeling that he is fast-becoming more and more badger with each passing day. Once his prayers are complete, he has Grizzly harness him to the sledge first. Make sure these scrolls are handy. If we run across something, we have a few options.

Rising on the 10th and feeling more prepared, the badger, hound, bear, and Grizzly Woman set out with their travoises, hauling their loads across the rolling hills towards the town they know awaits them miles away in the distance. The day passes, rainy and exhausting. The pair pass the night in a makeshift shelter sleeping soundly and begin again the next day.
It is mid-morning on the 11th when the hills begin tapering off into the flatlands which extend beyond the limits of Gaul. The pair is grateful for the respite and begin moving faster with their burdens accordingly. Another wet, exhausting day passes without any major incident, then the 12th as well, the group reaching the Farrow's farmland by nightfall, grateful for friendly faces and a drier place to sleep. They are quite confused, and then amazed, to find that their friend Clay has been so physically transformed.
Rising on the 13th, the heads out and finds their way to Gaul. It is late morning when you pass through the gates, finding the town in a state of frenetic worry about the news of the dragon carried ahead of you. The heralds tell you at the gate that you should attend to the ArchDuke's Halls to share what you can for the city's preparation against the beast.
You also know that the grim task lies before you - informing the Dwarves of Idmi d’dum of the death of their clansmen.
