The map is non-magical, as are the cases of candlesticks.
The sigil is magic - it is a Created item with a strong idiom of Law.

Able will try on the headress and try telling folks to do ridiculous things or to intimidate them. If it has the effect of intimidation, someone might to think about renegotiating the sale of those items.

While it does attract attention and intimidate some people, you don't sense it is a magical effect.

I'd say that's about as good as the elven cloak. I'd suggest letting Fingers have some share of coin, even if not a full equal share.

I think this is an excellent idea, but maybe also give the Ward vs. Undead scroll to Neegan as well.

Of course, it might be worth it to pay someone to figure out what the headdress can do. Could potentially be useful, maybe to another PC that isn't in the group.

The headdress is a 2,001 XP imbued item, so it's got something going on, but not too powerful. I still think it's really interesting that it's made out of the feathers of the chicken lizard. Maybe it grants a bonus to saves vs. whatever the chicken lizard does?

If I were less attached to Fingers, I might have had him wear the headdress and climb up to the chicken lizard to see what would happen.

Anyway, because the headdress is imbued with some ability, I'm reticent just to hang it on a wall as a tribute.

Just trying it on avails Rhybek no more than it did for Ablesforth when he did so.

He thinks hard on the actions the Chieftain took in the two minutes between when they saw him and when he bled out in pieces on the floor, but cannot remember anything suspicious.

I'm convinced that whatever ability that headdress has is related to the chicken lizard its feathers are from.

Of course, I've been inaccurately convinced before.

Still, if it's related to the chicken lizard, we may never find out until or unless we go back to the kobold tower, which I'm guessing Fingers is the only one interested in doing.

Rhybek would be interested in going back. But definitely with more muscle. I don't recall if anyone tried to determine what race made the tower. If Rhybek didn't immediately note dwarven construction, then likely it was Human.

But he'd still be interested in going back. I mean... there were...

Hey, what if the headdress lets the wearer move freely among the feathered lizards things? As in maybe get some of those eggs?
