Carchannoi and Fingers lob arrows into the darkness. (subtract from inventory) the eyes disappear amidst the sound of scurrying in the dark. After 15 minutes they begin to return, one by one, to watch from the dark once more. Baxtaw carves the succulent stout-marinated venison roasts.

Corbin will grab some food, nervously keeping his good eye on the watchers in the distance and keeping his weapons close to hand.

The night passes, the shift changes, the deer is roasted and carved. The eyes remain in the darkness, scared off but then returning soon after, with each offensive action. The temperature again drops to freezing and you again are grateful for the firm's warmth. Guhnk passes out by the campfire and snores loudly. Shortly before sunrise, they disappear, returning from whence they came.

A new day dawns, the group breaking their fast and packing down the camp.

Gentlemen, says Carchannoi, sitting beside the ashes, my suggestion remains to mount an assault on the goblins. What treasures would be ours! And how much easier it would be to penetrate the Marches if we did so! With Guhnk's aid, we can make short work of them.

"Yeah, sure," says Fingers, his eyes fixed on the roasted deer. He leans toward it. You can practically see the aroma lines pulling him forward. Sprinkles slobbers and licks his chops.

"Um...can I have some of that?" he asks Baxtaw.

Well, I suppose we need to do something. Staying here waiting on them to get the courage to attack will not be any better.

Corbin looks to the young elf and his goblin friend, "Can Guhnk lead us to the hideout? With our spellcasters, I think an assault would be possible if we can catch them off guard."

Guhnk scratches his nose. "Hideout? You mean Sleep holes? Not hard. Right around there..." He points around both sides of the hill. "King Hideout far, that way," he points again to the far southwest hills.

Markd suggests in as delicate manner as he might that they move toward one of the closer goblin holes, making sure it is not the one that Guhnk would have family or friends.

Corbin agrees with this action. Gunhk seems to think the smaller holes will be vulnerable enough for a successful attack. Maybe we find some of the loot from this caravan.

Silent opens his eyes, and looks at the others. There is no fatigue in his gaze, he's been following the conversation. He nods in agreement, patting the hilt of the sword laying across his lap.
