Trav is cool with either option.

Like Pulp, I am also inclined to believe that we will find humans down here.

I have no problem with hanging back with a candle to light my own way if you all want to move up ahead to scout.

What is the worst that could.........never mind. :P

I'm happy with going lightless. Surprise is nice, and I think it outweighs the penalty of having our magic-user melee in dark conditions. If he has spells that don't require visual targets they should work just fine, and we can always spend a round or two to get a torch lit if it comes to that.

Leaving Thursday morning and heading to Charlotte for Heroes Con! A few days of comic books, beer, cosplay chicks, bourbon, comic books, beer, etc ;) Back in town on Sunday night; might get to check in, might not.

Thanks fellers > had a good ol' time. Was hoping to run across some old D&D books and resources, but only found a few DRAGON mags. Still, it was good to get away for a few days.

Can we tell about how far we are now away from the shack that we first entered?

Did we travel a few hundred feet underground? Or much further than that?

Your best guess from traveling the tunnel is about 100 yards.

I am stumped as to what we should actually be trying to do in here. All I remember is that we need to get the rest of the map.

When in doubt.......Kill em' all? :D

Should we ask the orc how big this place is? If its not too large a complex, maybe we could clear it out before we are all dead? It doesn't seem like going into this room is a real popular idea.

Yeah, I'm thinking we should return to safety and come back with restored spells and a plan. If we take the corpses away with us through the tunnel and dispose of them elsewhere, we might be able to get away without alerting them we were even here.

I tend to agree with that logic.

We might need to be at full strength before we face Madame and friends.

Probably kill the chatty orc as well?

They mentioned something about collecting a map fragment tonight? We should try to keep watch over them from somewhere to see if that happens.

I'm all for letting the orc go. He's likely to rejoin a band, somewhere, and it'll weaken the Sausage Queen's reputation if word gets around that an orc escaped her service.
I personally don't have a preference either way, but I think Travix would agree with this logic. I wish there was a way to tag him somehow and track his movements.

The slower pace isn't a problem on my end.

I got a pile of RL stuff going on right now myself.
